So how easy is it to actually get the wallet out to pay for things?

This is really well made, especially for the price. It actually can hang from your belt and go right into the front pocket of your pants. I think it would be very difficult to have someone unzip it and pick pocket you. Inside your pants is really secure and the wallet is thin.

Can someone who has had this product for a while attest to its durability?

I have used this wallet for at least 10 trips to Europe and the longest is one month long. I love the fact that i can put my passport in it and it fits nicely. I usually tuck inside my pants and i can feel the wallet while walking or on a metro without checking it with my hands. I have the black color belt and i chose black wallet to blend in. It looks like a belt loop when i tucked my shirt inside the pants for casual dining. It is in great shape. The loop is made with durable material and well sewn to the pouch. It has several small compartments for credit cards and meshed pockets on inside big compartment.

How many passport booklets can one fit into this shacke pocket vault? Hope it's good for 4...and a couple of credit cards and some cash. Thanks.

4 would probably fit, but I would highly suggest you not store 4 passports in the same place. Everyone should carry their own. It's best to get 4 of these.

Is the loop black? I wear a black belt.

Our product's loop is the same light blue shade as the rest. The picture I am now looking at from Amazon appears to be a black loop which was a design change recommended by a previous reviewer. Good luck!

Put it on and forget it is there!

I do not rave about products too often but this wallet is fantastic. I ride a motorcycle and when I leave any petrol station I sometimes forget to zip up my pockets... and yes I have dropped my conventional wallet several times. My family call it "old man syndrome".Anyway, Now I get dressed, put the wallet on my belt and off I go. OK, yes my keys and phone have to be picked up but at least I am never with out my credit/debit card. One thing that surprises me is that it does not show as a bulk or lump on your hip. I have tried several of these travel wallets and find the leather ones look good for a few months but then start to look shabby also the zips get damaged easily. As far as the soft material hidden wallets go, they tend to last a long time but are shabby within a month. I know this is not a cool item for any 'pop idle' but if security is on your mind, get this baby.By-the-way it has RFID protection built in.

Poor quality

Very poor quality.Straps attached to the body were frayed at the insertion point. The strap tore loose while inserting passport, money, etc into main, larger pouch.RFID sleeves also became unglued at the end vs staying secured.Definitely look for another brand.I preordered this early for my international trip and was beyond the return-date for this poorly made product.I ended up improvising and used the pouch as a single carry-on which I then put into a secure pocket in my cargo-pant leg-pocket. Inconvenient and a poor product.

Good fit for Passport and Credit Cards.

Used for a trip to NYC. Fits a standard UK passport and credit cards. Very good but if you have to keep taking your blet off for security can be a bit annoying! Nothing to do with the product though.
