These Are Not The Big Hunks You Remember
The consistency of these Big Hunks is all wrong. Not sure what happened with these candy bars and the company that makes them. I purchased some about six months ago and they were just like they should be - chewy, lots of peanuts, and the wonderful Big Hunks flavor. I made a new order ordered in January 2025 - and they are soft with an almost fluffy consistency and very few peanuts. These are not the correct flavor, consistency, or color. These are not what you would consider as a Big Hunk. Be cautious because they are not right and you can’t return them.

Nostalgia at its sweetest!
They taste just like they did in my childhood - addictive! Our school cafeteria would sell candy bars and I would get one of these every day. (Be warned - they are high in sugar.) It's a good thing I bought a box of the candy bars because once I shared a taste with my husband, daughter, and son-in-law, the bars started disappearing fast! Break off a bite-sized chunk, put it in your mouth, and it will start to soften up within seconds. Goes from crunchy to chewy to velvety. Yum!

Used to be my favorite candy bars. Not now! They must have changed the recipe because they taste so poorly! I won't order these again!

Just like I remembered them from childhood! Super soft same flavor.

Consistency is different.
The taste is mostly what I remember, but, the consistency is waaay off. It's like eating hot taffy. I prefer where you have to use 2 hands to pull off a piece.

Classic Chewy Nougat bar with peanuts-- yum!
Childhood memories when I find this candy. I was craving one, but it was nowhere to be found. It's as good as ever, but the candy bars arrived as really, REALLY hard. Many were broken, but that's not a big deal. It's a nougat that should be chewy and stretchy. I have to ration these out since I had to buy a box of 24. Fast service, too.
