These hinges are marginally good. Meaning they do not come apart so you can fit or 'trace' the outline before you route out the piece. I recently built a cigar humidor and installed hinges like this. After a lot of mistakes and not to my satisfaction of the layout, I bought the same type of hinge elsewhere , thus allowing me to accurately trace the part and use my router accordingly.

Old hinges on the cigar box, had the screws stripped, so I elected to get these replacement hinges. I ended up going to a hardware store and getting deeper brass screws and now the box functions as new

Nice hinge but no instructions so you should be an experienced woodworker if you're using these in a new project. The curved rod to hold at 90 degrees must be milled under or over the hinges.

It would be helpful to have written installation instructions and preferably a template to mortise your recesses by. Photo don't help that much. Do the fit flush with the back or does the hinge part hang over? No instructions at all speak to a lack of customer concerns. And the screws should be replaced with better ones. These are too soft even with pilot holes.

Hinges are nice, well priced and work as expected. But don't even bother with these screws. They're junk. I predrilled into Cherry wood and still 2 broke off and 3 stripped out. Nearly ruined my entire project. It'd been worth it to just buy screws seperately.

These quadrant hinges are really nice . the brass is thick enough that they hold their shape and perform above and beyond. I would absolutly buy them again.

I asked for a refund because the package took so long to arrive. The Arrive By date changed after shipping so I could not cancel the order. I had to purchase product locally to finish my project on time. Geenite did not respond to the return request.
