Panasonic Hot Water Dispenser, Electric Kettle with 4 Temp Presets

I bought this for the carbon lining and it does not disappoint! Finally have clean water and am able to truly taste my teas in a way I didn’t think was possible. It is expensive, but it really is a game changer if you love tea. The manual states that long boiling is able to eliminate 80% of chlorine from water, which is also nice. Overall, Good price point with the unique carbon lining. I’m glad I took a chance on this water boiler.

So much better than having to boil water. Instant hot water as needed!

Love this! Makes life easier, not always having to boil water or turn the switch on.

Overall I find that the Panasonic water heater dispenser is a good product at a very strong price point when you compare it to its competitors like Zojirushi. If you have these electronic rice cookers, you’ll have a good idea of how this product is designed and works. The unit is made of a solid plastic frame which is quite sturdy. The lid is heavy so it will flop shut as you fill the water chamber if you’re not careful. They do include a handle once you fill the unit after you close the lid so it’s easier to carry out of the sink. I wish the water chamber was removable like a rice cooker stainless steal pot. The demarcation for max fill capacity is hard to read as it’s all in black against the inner coated water chamber. The amount of water it can hold is amazing as I can fill once and I’m set for a day or more. Boiling temps are available so you can make adjustments with a click of the button and you can reboil. A huge pro is that when you lock the device and depress water; once you release the button, not even a drop of water comes out that could burn you. You can also dispense water with the lid open which I like as I use it to make water that I put in bottles in the fridge, so it allows for some cooling. I do this to boil out any impurities and then have fresh clean drinking water. My home always has cold and hot water now. Finally i love that there is a magnetic cord that has a strong connection to the unit but can easily be removed. Also the unit spins on a plastic set of wheels so I don’t have to pick it up everytime. It can just be rotated when many people want access to hot water. Overall a very solid unit at a good price.

As a tea snob I can't find a single fault with this. Excellent electric boiler! The four heat presets make it super versatile for different needs. I specifically chose this model for the carbon lining to help purify the water, and it really delivers on that end. Such clean water. It’s efficient, easy to use, and looks great on the counter.

The inside coated area got rusty in 4 months. (see the pictures that I uploaded.) I'm guessing that the inside water area is NOT made of stainless steel, or it is made of low grade stainless steel. Or maybe since they put that coating on the surface, they feel they don't need to use stainless steel - but just use plain regular steel that can rust But if the coating wears away after time, the regular steel will start rusting. I really wished that it would have not rusted. Now, I just wasted my money, and I don't want other people to be disappointed like me and lose their money too.

Drinking hot teas all day requires hot water at your disposal. Although electric tea kettles boil water quite fast, they are poor for keeping the water at desired temperature for tea brewing. Although expensive, this is one of the products that are essential in a tea lover's life. Besides, I use hot water from the dispenser to get cooking started, cutting down prep time whenever I use the dispenser. I put the machine into stand-by mode when I go to bed. After six hours, it reboils and gets hot water ready at desired temperature. As a bonus, such convenience makes my morning go a little bit smoother and less hectic.

We're a household of three people, but just two of us are regular users of hot water, and this is perfect! It has enough features to be more than useful without being overly complicated for my elderly mother. The best part is that it simply works super well! It is also stylish enough and the size is just right. It's been almost two months and we are still very happy with it.

Keeps water hot and dispenses when needed. What else would I need it to do? Decent quality in a tidy footprint on my counter. I'm happy.

Useful fir my parents.

Hot water anytime for tea, coffee or meal prep. Reliable brand at affordable cost.

Excellent! We're happy with this product!
