Culture and Technology: A Primer

Very often when some material is required by a class the reading would turn out to be a grind, but this book has been a surprise. The book gives a solid overview of understanding technology's relationship with society that often seems too obvious to be taken seriously, and that is the point. While most of my classmates labelled the book as a grind simply because they don't enjoy the class, I find it a charming, and sometimes unsettling, read about how technology dictates our daily lives.

I bought this book for a class that I am taking, and I must say, it is a tough read. Granted, I'm not much of a reader anyway, but even my professor will say "This book is a cure for insomnia". However, if you can get over the fact that it is slow and not designed to be entertaining, it has some great insight on technology and its relationship with society.

I had to buy this for my college class...

Not a very exciting book to read. Very confusing. Shipped on time and the seller was great!
