This Richard Scarry Cars and Trucks and Things That Go book is delightful. We are giving this to our three year old grandson for his birthday in a couple of weeks, and he will love it.Like all little people, he loves to read books with his family. This hard cover book is special as it allows you to ask them about the names of all the bright colors, and name the vehicles, what sounds they make, and where they might Go. You can discuss in little people terms…where each vehicle would be seen, and what each does. Even if it is a silly vehicle.Richard Scarry was one of my daughter’s favorite storybooks over 30 years ago, and it is so special that my 3 year old grandson will be reading these books, too.Love the quality of the book, the colors, the pictures, and the stories. Very happy with this book, and highly recommend.

I'm an older millennial and I bought this for my daughter because I recognized it and remembered it being one of my favorites when I was young. I was worried that it wouldn't hold up since it's so dated, but that was unfounded. Since the day we got it, it's been a round 1 bedtime bedtime selection every night. The story is easy to follow and engaging enough to not get too too boring to read. There are so many characters and vehicles on every page that there's almost always something new that has been missed in past readthroughs. Also, the running theme of finding goldbug keeps a toddler engaged and feeling rewarded every page.

This was a favorite when my 40-something kids were young, so I bought for a grand-nephew. His mom says he loves it and they read it most every night. Kids LOVE looking for Goldbug!

Love this book. So great for toddlers

As a kid I spent many hours studying these books. I got them for my own kids and they aren't quite as into them as I am, but they like them. They're silly and funny and have many details to the pictures. There is a lot to read in these books. They're a great value for the price because these turn into multiple bedtime stories and are fun to read time and time again.

Perfect for the truck and car fiend in your life. My son gives this 5 stars - he loves the huge full color pages packed full of detailed vehicle illustrations. The full gamut from realistic excavators to whimsical pickle cars is on display here and you don’t want to miss it. It has some cute storylines too and little extras to find along the way. I give it fewer stars because I’m getting tired of reading it when he reaches for it every night!
