Spot On Flea Treatment, 4 Pack, Large Cats & Rabbits 4kg+, 80mg

I had been dealing with a flea infestation for months, no matter what I did I couldn’t get rid of them and I own 4 cats so it was an actual nightmare. As others have mentioned I frontline for months not realising the flea have become immune to it!! I eventually found some flea tablets that did temporarily kill the fleas for about a week which wasn’t manageable and then one of my cats had an allergic reaction to it getting skin sores, so I did a lot of research and found this one had different ingredients that can specifically help with allergies! And wow wow wow did it work! The fleas and flea dirt were gone within the week, and my cats allergy started to finally heal! The treatment lasts for up to 4 weeks for me and I have been using it every month just incase and to keep on top of it. I haven’t seen a flea in months now it’s worked a treat, and it’s much more affordable than a lot of other flea treatments that don’t even work. I finally feel at peace in my home and my cats are so much happier. If you’re struggling with fleas this is the treatment to go for 🙏

I rarely get round to writing reviews, but I wanted to do what I could to help anyone else struggling with a flea infestation. Advantage made an ENORMOUS difference to my flea infestation. I was using Frontline spot on. I had no idea it has a reputation for being ineffective! We noticed a couple of fleas right around the end of December, and I sprang into action flea treating the house. After 10 days, while this was reducing the flea population, it wasn't eliminating it. If you don't eliminate it, you're not really getting anywhere. From there I did extensive research on treatments I could use for my cat. After trying a useless, natural oil based spray, I turned my attention back to chemical treatments. I noticed that the ingredient in Advantage are completely different to those in Frontline and Bob Martin. It had been 2.5-3 weeks since I last applied Frontline, so having done as much research as possible on the safety of this, I applied the Advantage. My cat scratched for about 24 hours and from there her skin seemed to really calm down. What I like about this product is it kills fleas on the cat as well as larvae in the house wherever the cat goes. When treating a flea infestation, the eggs, larvae, and live fleas are not your problem. The problem is the pupae (cocoons) because flea sprays, flea bombs, and pet treatments won't kill them. They are impervious to everything and can live for a few months. The only way to eliminate them is by hoovering them up (but there is no way of knowing if you have got them all) or waiting for them to hatch, so the fleas can then be killed. This is why it's a bonus that Advantage kills larvae, because then they can't progress to becoming pupae. The only way to be sure you're killing pupae on hatching is to make your home and pet an uninhabitable environment for fleas. Flea sprays work for weeks/months on the home, and pet treatments such as this make your pet uninhabitable. But the pupae is the reason you could treat your cat and still see fleas weeks or months later - if your cat goes where there was some, they sense this, hatch, and jump on your cat. As long as you are regularly treating your cat then this shouldn't be anything to worry about. Other things I also like about Advantage: The application tubes actually easily dispense all of the product! It is safe to be applied weekly if required (per the IFU in the box). Weekly did feel too regular for me, so I waited 2 weeks. My cat was a little scratchy again towards the end of the first two weeks, so this felt right. I am now going to be going for 2-3 week intervals (dependent on observing her) until I feel more confident reducing it down to 3-4 weeks. This will depend on her scratchiness and whether I see any more fleas. This product was a huge game changer for me and I will be sticking with Advtange from now on.

⚖️ The Quick Verdict: Pros & Cons ✅ Flea-Free in a Flash: Knocks out pesky fleas within a swift 24-hour window. ✅ Long-Lasting Cat Guard: Keeps feline friends protected against re-infestation for up to four full weeks. ✅ Bonus Environment Protection: Doesn't just kill adult fleas on the pet; it targets flea larvae in the surrounding home environment too. ✅ Dual-Species Superpower: Specially formulated to work safely for both larger cats and big bunnies over 4kg. ❌ Shorter Bunny Window: While cats get a full month of protection, rabbits only get up to one week of coverage per pipette. ❌ The Bitter Drool Danger: If pets manage to lick the application site before it dries, the bitter taste causes temporary, dramatic drooling. ❌ Post-Application Lockdown: Treated pets must be kept strictly separated from other furry housemates until the liquid completely dries. ------------------------------ 🚀 Deep Dive: Why This Spotlight Treatment is a Total Game-Changer! Dealing with flea infestations can feel like an endless game of backyard tag, but this four-pack of Advantage Spot On brings serious heavyweight power to the arena! 🌟 Formulated specifically for the big league—cats and rabbits weighing over 4kg—each 80mg pipette packs a massive punch against stubborn parasites. The standout feature here is the sheer speed of execution. Seeing a pet stop scratching because the treatment eliminates fleas within 24 hours is incredibly satisfying. It acts as an invisible shield that relentlessly battles bugs. For feline companions, that shield stays locked down tight for up to four glorious weeks 🗓️. For giant rabbits, it delivers a critical one-week intensive defense cycle that helps break the pest cycle during peak flea seasons. Application is designed to be completely stress-free! The twist-and-pop cap design means no hunting around the junk drawer for a pair of scissors ✂️. A quick squeeze directly onto the skin at the base of the skull, and the job is done. Because it treats the immediate home environment by wiping out flea larvae where the pet rests, it actively stops the next generation of pests from hatching in carpets and bedding. For households managing larger pets, having a reliable, fast-acting, and dual-purpose formula keeps the itching away so the cuddling can stay! 🐾✨

This treatment works reasonably well and is better than other brands I’ve tried. — Easy to apply — Slight chemical smell, but nothing overpowering — My cat isn’t keen on it, although it hasn’t caused any issues — A few fleas have returned within several weeks Effective overall, but not quite the total flea eviction I was hoping for.

Five days after using it (and having to drip it from a height onto the back of the neck onto a nervous cat), my cat is not scratching, his fur is clearly healthier and he is a lot happier and friendlier. I hate to think what it must have been like for him when he was scratching all the time but this has clearly worked wonders and I shall be using it consistently from now to avoid his getting fleas again. Really very happy with this purchase.

Well packaged with my kitten milk in a sturdy cardboard box. I gave to my kitten after to use as a little hiding place / play area. Fantastic flea treatment for cats. I find this one works 100% on my kitten & adult cats. I buy it every month. I've subscribed for my cats flea treatment. As I don't wabt them getting fleas. Good price. Value for money. Very happy customer.

very effective easy to use

We switched to this a couple of years ago after our previous brand stopped working, and we haven’t seen a single flea since, our cat and dog rarely scratch anymore. It’s easy to apply, a fraction of the vet’s price, and very easy to purchase online. A quick word of warning: make sure your pet doesn't shake right after application! Our dog shook her head immediately after applying it, and some stray drops landed on our entertainment unit, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, which chemically melted the plastic. We checked online afterwards and found this warning in the small print. Overall, it works brilliantly as a flea treatment, but just be extra careful about where you apply it indoors and keep your pets away from electronics and polished surfaces until it completely dries.
