Soothing
I easily fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean, No words just non-intrusive waves of the ocean. I own many Kelly Howell CDs but after awhile I lose interests in some of them. Right now this one does it for me ... it is completely relaxing and after listening to this I find myself taking spontaneous deep breaths throughout the day. I would recommend it,

White Noise
This does not have any music as stated by another reviewer. It doesn't even sound like waves...it sounds like white noise. Whether I play it soft or loud, it does not soothe me, it irritates me. The only part that reminds me of the ocean (which I live by & visit often) is when it has the sound of gulls in the background. I gave it away and cannot recommend it.

Great for a rest, afternoon nap or any time you want peace. Volume is appropriate and not jarring. I also use this for sleep sounds.

Ocean Waves
It is a good CD, but all it is is the sound of Ocean Waves.I use it or massage it does put you in kind of a trance and my clients do like it.

波音のみ60分1本勝負のCDです。穏やかに打ち寄せる波音の裏で微かなフツフツ音（これがセータ波？）が鳴り続けます。Running Time: 60 MinutesTrack 1: Theta Waves and Ocean Waves本家サイトの説明では・Enter the Shamanic State of Consciousness・Awaken Psychic Abilities・Access profound insightsとありますので、一見穏やかな波音のようでも眠りは妨げられます。これは眠るためのCDではなく覚醒するためのCDのようです。使用するスピーカーの低域が弱いと臨場感がなく効果が薄れるようです。変な音で効果が薄れては意味がありませんので、アンプやスピーカーはそこそこ出力のあるものを選んだ方がよろしいかと思います。私は FOSTEX パーソナル・アンプ AP05 で BOSE 161B スピーカーシステム を鳴らしています。iPodから１曲リピートを延々鳴らし続けます。AP05は電源のオートオフ機能があるのでこういう用途には最適です。内容的には期待通りの作品だったので満足しています。いささかフツフツ音が気になったので☆一つ減らしました。次回は同じ波音で Slow Wave Sleep を購入するつもりです。 FOSTEX パーソナル・アンプ AP05BOSE 161B スピーカーシステムSlow Wave Sleep
