Air Filters Inc. Astro-Pleat 12x12x1 Standard Pleated AC/Furnace Filter (Merv 8) 6-Pack

I was able to use this for a Coleman Presidential III 7900 unit. Such an hvac system normal uses a filter you have to vacuum every few months and doesn't filter very well. After installing this, with a small modification as it was slightly(about 1/4 of an inch) too big in one direction and too short about an inch in another, a detail I already knew and accounted for when choosing filter sizes, it actually filters the air very well with minimal drag on the motor since I can now use more surface area despite the stupid filter door design(this unit had most of the filter door solid with only two grates at the top and bottom and a 3rd spot in the middle that's recessed. A proper door would have a mesh or the whole door would be grating so air could flow through better and make use of whole filter. And what makes it even dumber is there is a lower door with a single small grate that does nothing at all. A complete waste of space and bad design.)Now I am not coughing, and sneezing far far less than I used to after installing this filter. Overall the house has less dust and any pollen that gets in will be filtered out when the blower runs. It even keeps the ac coils cleaner, so I don't have to tear into them as often to clean them, and I still save money in energy usage since the blower can move more air freely. I am very happy with this purchase and hope to buy more when I install the last filter from the box I ordered.

The filters are a little shorter than the specs but that is much better than a little longer. Otherwise, they are as described.
