At last: a stylus I can use for my job!!
This may be the best stylus I have ever used with my 4th gen iPad!The first order came with a faulty charger but since Amazon has a great customer service, I received my replacement within 24 hours. The stylus works absolutely as advertised! I use it to study and take notes in my meetings, go through pdf files, leave comments in papers... for academic work, it is flawless! The pro's:Battery life - my stylus lasts about a week and charges completely in 45 minutes. And it automatically turns of where you're not using it. When you pick it up, you just have to push the button for a second or two and you're good to go!The undo button - as an academic, sometimes you come up with an idea while you're writing and the undo button is an absolute time saver! I love this feature! The design - it looks so sleek and the weight of the stylus is perfectly balanced. Holding it feels like holding an expensive pen like Parker, Mont Blanc...The tip - My previous stylus had one of those bulky rubber tips. The Adonit Pixel tip provides an awesome writing experience - the glass surface of the iPad is the only thing keeping from feeling like writing on paper.Compatibility - While the Apple Pencil only works with the new iPad Pro, which feels like a sleazy way to make you spend your precious dollars upgrading your device, this stylus works with my iPad Mini 2 and iPad Retina 4th generation. And it works flawlessly with both devices. I can't seem to note any difference in the performance in both devices. Additionally, this stylus works with a large number of apps... I essentially use it with Goodnotes. I have had no issues with the connection between the two devices! The (only) con I can think of:A small lag - I use my stylus essentially as a pencil to write, take notes, study and for me, it's perfectly fine! However, there is a very small but noticeable lag between the tip of the stylus and the line in the screen, I believe that the pro users might feel a little disappointed. I don't know enough about the other styluses out there, but you may wanna try this before buying if you're going to use it to use it as a professional designer, for e.g.All in al, I am having a great experience using this stylus! Great job Adonit engineers!

Please don’t buy this pen
Ordered this a week ago because I wanted to try out digital art on my iPad Air 2 and this stylus is as far as I know one of the only that offers pressure settings and palm sensitivity on older iPads. I took the bad reviews on board and figured I’d just try it and see what happened.Well, it worked great at first—connected seamlessly with the app I’m using, charged fine, etc. However, a couple of days in it would just stop working at times (although strangely both buttons still worked). I learned to fix this by unscrewing and rescrewing the tip or turning the stylus off and back on. However, today it stopped working to the point I could no longer turn it off or back on, and when I went to plug it in figuring it needed to be charged, it won’t even charge.Huge disappointment for something I was really looking forward to buying. Please don’t buy this pen! Everything I’ve seen online suggests this company has terrible quality control and worse customer service. I’m not sure what the solution is if you have an older iPad like me, but anything has to be better than this frustration and disappointment!

A real rival to the Apple Pencil and works with multiple IOS devices
[Third Update] The more I use this thing, the more impressed I am with it. I now think it's pretty close to the gold standard of the Apple Pencil, but is more useful in some ways. Adding a star. .... Just received the replacement (thank you Amazon. Turnaround, less than week) and now will give the Pixel extra stars and edit my earlier two-star review. It is a great stylus and may deserve five stars. Advertised as competitive with Apple Pencil, it almost is, but not quite. For drawing, there is nothing that competes with the Pencil, which, of course, only works with the Pro. I have both the Pro (12 inch) and a Mini (2015), so I bought the Pixel for use with the Mini, which I use for quick sketches and notes in the field. After some jiggling, I got the Pixel to work with Procreate and Sketchbook (neither of which currently will pair with the Pixel). The Pixel had little or no offset with either app and the delay was minimal. Pressure sensitivity was good. The point was slightly too large for my taste, but drew nice, fine lines and larger lines were equally accurate. I could not detect the ad claim that the point had a more toothy feel (using it with a matte screen protector) but was much better than the Adonit disc stylii. Neither could I get the pen to automatically turn on when I picked it up,[not sure of this now. It may work as advertised, but is too subtle to notice. At any rate it seems to be on when you pick it up.] as the company literature claimed. It has two buttons, one of which turns it on. Both are programmable in supported apps. The nib has a slight wobble to it (undetectable when in use), but I wondered if it was a manufacturing flaw. [apparently it is supposed to have a slight wobble, but the replacement Pixel's wobble is far less noticeable]Two emails to customer support have remained unanswered, [Not true. Their email was sent to an email address that I seldom use. My high regard for their customer service is fully restored ]so I cannot answer that question[It is designed to wobble a bit, according to Adonit's email]. The Pixel deserves [and now gets]at least a four star rating, but unfortunately, it stopped working on the third day of use and I returned it to Amazon, which has a great return policy BTW. As testament to my belief that the Pixel is the best non-Apple stylus out there, I immediately reordered one and will update this review [done]as soon as I have used it more extensively.

Very good purchase !
I have an IPad Air 2 and was looking for a pen that would be compatible with my model and was sooo happy to find that gem! It works super well, easy and fast to connect with my IPad and has a long battery life! Well made, fits well in hand. I would recommend that pen for those who own an old version of IPad that doesn’t support the Apple pen.
