Gulluoglu's famous Turkish Pistachio Baklava 56 pieces (4.4 lb-2000 gr)

This is a great product it is the real deal. Not too sweet just right not too sticky and syrupy either. Again just right the real deal real authentic Turkish baklava straight from Turkey where else company sent me a nice letter address to me personally along with pictures of four generations of the family they didn't have pictures going back any further. They're probably weren't pictures that far back. The company made it a personal deal addressed to me and that was makes you feel good when somebody does that in addition they sent me a nice small package of Turkish delight in four different varieties. Free of charge it was all included in the price no extra charge. They did not have to do that but it was nice that they did I would have been satisfied with it the way it was. I had my own business Painting and Restoring Homes for nearly 40 years until I broke my back in for places when I fell from a 24-foot ladder. I always gave the customer everything I said I would plus a little bit more and they always came back every time they needed some work done. I was strictly word of Mouth. They recommended me to their friends one man even put me in their neighborhood newsletter. I can tell you when somebody gives you your money's worth plus a little extra it makes you want to go back and I will be back for more. Can't say enough good about these people they made me feel like I was part of their family. Thank you to everyone involved in making this product and the people who took the time to send me a handwritten letter plus a little bit extra product for free in the form of Tucker's delight something I have never tried before but it is very good. I have not tried everything from this company but I don't think they make anything but I wouldn't like. The only thing I say is I wish they would have larger boxes say three or six pound boxes. They do sell multiples of the same size box but it would be nice to get larger boxes especially with the variety pack that like they have to be able to buy at least a 1 kilo box preferably a 3 or 5 kilo box. The one I purchased was a 1/2 kilo box. It had 14 pieces in it and somehow 6 pieces seem to have disappeared within a few hours of opening the box and I enjoyed every Damn one of them!! I could have easily sat there and eaten the whole box along with another box just like it in one setting they are that good. I opened the box telling myself I was only going to eat one piece. After that I said boy that was good I'll just eat one more finally got ate a third piece then I put them in the refrigerator but they kept calling me because the refrigerator is way too close to my chair...God Bless Y'allJimmy in NC....

So I like baklava - or rather, baklava is one of those things that I really feel that I *should* like. I like all the ingredients, it looks delicious, it sounds delicious, I like the broader cuisine of which it is a part. However, I've always found it far too rich, it's just too sweet for me. Aggressively sweet, such that I can hardly have a single slice, much less an entire square.When I first read about "dry baklava", I figured that it was exactly what I was looking for - baklava,but not quite so syrupy. $30 is quite a lot to spend on a tray of anything like this, but the reviews were good and this was the only trustworthy-looking product immediately available on Amazon, so I decided to roll the dice on it.Definitely a good move. It is just what it sounds like - baklava without about half the usual syrup. The top half is loose and flaky; the bottom half is syrupy, and the middle has a layer of chopped pistachio. If you think even this is a bit too sweet, just flip it over and eat it upside-down. However, I thought it was just right. The family - who shares my opinion of the more typical baklava found in the US - also enjoyed this quite a bit, the whole box barely lasted twenty-four hours. I'm comfortable saying this the best baklava I've had.It arrived quickly, well-protected, and in good order, and even came with some complimentary Turkish delight - which was, by the way, also the best Turkish delight that I've had - soft with subtle flavors.The price means I won't be able to order this on the regular, but I will be ordering it again to share with others, since it's something that not many people in the US have had a chance to try before. Would definitely recommend.

I always send them as a birthday gift, I know they will never let me down. They are so fresh and delicious, that if you want to give something that they will thank you for and leave you with excellent taste, flavor and quality... this is the best gift.

The best! After trying all the other types available, this baklava brings back memories to my tastebuds of the home in Egypt that I left as a boy years ago. Such is the joy of eating fresh, moist, and delicious Baklava. Unforgettable, memorable and order repeatable.

Well, this is a classic Turkish dessert, and Gulluoglu makes it quite tasty. Though, I ordered pistachio and guess what, they put one or two walnut baklava in it. I wasn’t surprised, these things works like that in Turkiye. Make sure you don’t have a particular nut allergy before ordering these desserts. Otherwise, it is still my favorite. They also sent us a gift box of Turkish delights. Nice gesture!

The Baklava arrived on Dec 20. It said on the box manufactured Dec 18. That’s pretty incredible from Turkey to USA.It’s hard to find pistachio baklava. Most people in US use walnuts. It is delicious, fresh and for buying it from a foreign bakery I’m impressed.

They made the baklava at April 8th and I ate it at April 10th. They shipped my baklava from all the way Turkey to Idaho in only 2 days. That was insane and delicious

Die Bestellung kam sehr schnell, am Mittwochabend bestellt, am nächsten Dienstag kam die Ware. Es war super verpackt, sehr frisch und sehr sehr lecker. Schmeckt genauso wir in dem Güllüoglu-Laden in Istanbul. Kann ich zu 100% weiterempfehlen.
