Wonderful light
Best light I ever bought. Great options for dimness. It is so convenient to clasp to a corner and it is certainly malleable enough to be adjusted to where I need it. Worth every penny.I read reviews about the buttons... must be some old people who can't seem to learn any new tricks. You hold the power button for a whole second to turn on and off. Otherwise you just tap the power button for dimness levels.Yes, the buttons are on the underside of the lamp. It's like how some tvs have black buttons along the side and you learn to locate it without using your eyes, so it doesn't take long to learn without looking. It is definitely not as frustrating as some people conveyed in their reviews. The mounting is sturdy. The lamp stays exactly wherever I put it. The top never slants or falls - you can tighten the lamp at several points, and the light fixture part itself can be adjusted to tilt and spin many ways. This is truly a great desk lamp. Maybe not so super bright if you're a professional artist, but this is a $65 lamp. Buy something substantial if you're looking for a more powerful light.

Good lamp if you have the right tool to fix it
I was looking for a lamp that I could mount horizontally above my piano and I ended up ordering this Lumos E2 based on some of the positive reviews. When I took the lamp out of the box and mounted it it would constantly sag and just not stay in place as the lamp is mounted off-center so it would always tilt due to the uneven lever arms. I was able to fix this problem by tightening the rather loose connector between the arm and the lamp with an Allen wrench. Now the lamp stays in place and no longer moves around. It produces plenty of light that I don't need any other light source when playing the piano (mounted about 3ft above the keyboard), the light is very even, does not produce any shadows and there is no flickering. It is very easy on the eyes. The lamp can easily be adjusted in height and angle to fit anywhere. And it looks really stylish with the off-center design and the shiny black, going well with my black piano. I just don't understand why Anker had to use a rather plain, silver stabilizer with the otherwise black lamp.?.Overall a great lamp, but be aware that you might have to bring out some tools depending on how you need to mount the lamp.Update: after using the lamp for a few months I have to take one star off - the button desing on the lamp is just horrible. You can't feel the buttons as they are touch sensitive. I'd rather have a normal switch that I can feel, even in the dark.

Not without issues.
I recently contacted customer service when my Anker Lumos A2 wouldn't turn on. I promptly received a no questions asked refund, which was fantastic on the part of their customer service. I decided to put the refund toward upgrading to the E2.As far as the construction of the Anker Lumos E2 LED Lamp goes, its sturdy and well made. The aluminum limbs are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. My complaints start and end with the control buttons.1. Anker could have improved the design by making the buttons a little more tactile. Just a little bubble raised from the surface would have made it much easier to push each button correctly. Also, I have to be sitting down looking up at the underside to see and tap these buttons correctly. There is no feedback to pressing the buttons, this as I've read from others, is their biggest concern.2. My lamp will change light modes on its own from time to time. This is insanely annoying. I'll have it set to the brightest and whitest light for reading at my desk and it will change to a cooler and dimmer light without my input. All it takes is a tap of the buttons to get it back but if I set my lamp to a certain setting, I want it to stay there.Overall, this lamp is well made and does provide enough light to work comfortably. BUT Anker needs to work out the kinks with their electronic hardware before shipping to customers. I'll keep the lamp, but this will make me reconsider buying another Anker light in the future.UPDATE: Anker customer service replaced the defected unit very promptly. Wonderful customer service.

Good quality light with some design flaws
The quality of the product is good and the light brightness, evenness and color are great. However, I docked some stars because the angle of the light and the arm isn't perfect 90 degrees. It droops down to one side slightly if the light is rotated the to the left side. If the light is on the right side it looks to be good.I wish there was an extra adjustment at the end of the arm that lets you rotate it to adjust the left/right angle. Right now you can only adjust the light to point towards the bottom and then flip towards up. If the light is pointed towards the bottom you can't adjust it to point a towards left or right. You can rotate the entire light to the left or right side, but can't point towards left or right. If there was this extra adjustment then you'd be able to fix the lights that aren't perfect 90 degrees.

Incredible Product & Value!
All I can say is "Wow!" It is rare, these days to find such a great product at a great price point. I can't say enough about the quality of these lights.I bought two of these lamps for my work/hobby bench, one on the left and one on the right. Four light modes allow you to simulate different lighting conditions which allows you to see what your work will look like, outdoors, under fluorescent lights and incandescent as well. On top of that, it has the ability to dim to three or four levels, can't remember exactly, but just amazing. Fully articulating, I'm able to easily bring of of the lamps right down to within a few inches of my work, which is extremely helpful if you are working on small items that you need to magnify and work close to. Good light is critical in those situations. I'm actually thinking about buying a couple of more and just stashing them away.Bottom line, if you're looking for a great light at a great value, you can't go wrong with this one.
