Be careful in making the distinction between Magnolia Bark and Magnolia Bark Extract. The extract is standardized for the compounds behind the product's wonderful health benefits. Also, to get the most from magnolia bark extract, take it with meals with fat/oil in them (I prefer light versions of such meals) for best absorption. This is because the bioactive compounds in the extract are lipophillic, which means they have an affinity for fat in the digestive tract.

The % of the extracts in this formula is pretty high (90%). 80% is generally considered pretty strong so probably best not to take more than 1 a day. Swanson quality is always top notch!

This crap will get you high. By high i mean that you will have a strangely positive early morning mood with deeply nolstalgic notes that make you feel the happiness you felt in early childhood, and then later in your afternoon to evening as it wears off you will feel a crash that makes you feel really weird and unhumane If that's your schtick or if you have "weed brain" you may be able to better handle it

Started taking it for sleep, would work really well for that. I was taking 2 caps a night. However it would impact how I felt the next day. Would feel a lot of rebound anxiety similar to benzodiazepines. Use with caution.
