When I ordered this, I was hoping that it was actual wood and not just plastic with a wood print on it. Well, it's plastic with the wood grain printed on it. But it's really nice. It's done well. Most items that are fake wood grain are pretty cheap and cheesy looking, frankly, they're junk. I'd prefer just black or white plastic instead of the fake wood grain. This is done very well though and it looks really nice. It has two usb ports on it so you can charge two devices at once. Those are the way to go in my opinion. It works, it charges two devices at the same time, and it looks nice while doing this. I put it in my car with a light tan and light wood interior and it matches very well. I'm happy with this and glad I decided to take a chance on the fake wood grain. It's printed on the plastic I assume, but they printed it extremely well, there's no spots where it's bare plastic...like the edges of many of those types of printed plastic items. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Let me point out the only criticism I have with this car charger. The price is quite premium for me even if it is justifiable with the product's quality, performance and mostly the unique design. With that said, I am more of practicality than design especially if we are talking about a car charger. Yes, it is cool and a nice accent to your vehicle, but the bottom line is that you just simply wants to charge your phone or tablet as you travel. So, why the 5 stars? well, when it comes down to quality, design and performance, I don't have anything to criticize. I can't deduct the stars because I find it a bit expensive. So now, is it worth buying it? of course, with the idea that you love the design and is looking for a quality car charger. Is this the best kind? could be, but there are hundreds of others to choose from. The big difference is the unique design with this one. I guess it comes down to your priority and taste. This charger is very nicely made. I absolutely LOVE the wood grain design. It is constructed of good plastics and looks nice. It fits very snug in your car's socket and really charges well. With 2 phones connected (s5 and s7 edge) at the same time i didn't see any charging issues and both phones were charging at a good rate. On the s7 edge i got the fast charge message. All in all this is a great charger. When making purchases on Amazon I rely heavily on the reviews of fellow shoppers. All reviews I write reflect my honest opinion of the product.
