A great rack!
Solid, simple, versatile and great value compared to alternatives. Already loaded up with lumber for much better shop organization. Looking forward to installing more!Only minor downside is not coming with screws for mounting, so be prepared when it comes time to assemble and install!

Great Wood Rack!
This is a sturdy wood rack. It is also very easy to assemble and install. I used 5/16" x 4" structural washer head screws in order to mount the steel vertical brackets to the framing studs. The holes in the steel mounting brackets, and the round plastic spacers, needed to be drilled out 1/16" larger in order to to accommodate the 5/16" screws, since the holes are only 1/4", but the larger screws worked great for more structural support. It took about 30 minutes total to assemble and install the wood rack. The instructions recommend 1/4" x 3" lag screws, but I wanted something a little stronger, so I used larger screws. By the time the mounting screws go through the 1" vertical steel bar, the 5/8" plastic spacer and 1/2 " to 3/4" sheetrock, they are going to need some real length in order to sink far enough into a 1-1/2" × 3-1/2" framing stud. I mounted the vertical brackets 5 feet apart, so they hold 6 foot and 8 foot long lumber perfectly. Any shorter lumber can just be placed on top of the longer lumber. The weakest point of the wood rack seems to be the little sheet metal screws that hold the horizontal shelf brackets in place, but so far they are holding well. If you have some lumber that you need to get up off of the floor and organized, then I highly recommend this sturdy wood rack.

Great Lumber Racks
Installed these to hold stacks of mahogany lumber for an antique wooded boat restoration. They were easy to install into the studs and held a surprising weight of lumber. Easily handled 250+ LBS of 12' lumber. Installed 4 racks, 32" OC.

A little pricey but worth it!
Awesome product! Exactly as described and super easy to install. Consider using timber screws to install instead of lag bolts.

Good product. Instructions are incorrect.
The first product I received was clearly open box, and I returned it in part because I thought it was missing some mounting hardware. The instructions said there should be six screws + standoffs, but the product came with only 4. The problem however was not that the hardware was lost by the previous buyer. The instructions incorrectly state that the four bar product should have three screws per side, but if you actually unpack the product, there are only two holes per side, so 4 screws is in fact the correct number.
