This is just right for our small deck! It is very sturdy, and the color is amazing!

This half umbrella is perfect for our small patio and would also be great on a balcony. It seems to be very well-made and sturdy, so far. We bought the 33 lb base just to make sure it doesn’t tip over but I assume that, depending on the space, the 20 lb base option would work, too. Another bonus is that, during a rainstorm, it kept the entire seating area dry. Highly recommended!

Who knew that there was actually a half umbrella! What a clever idea. I purchased an Adirondack set for our lanai and placed it along our west wall. It's great to sit and have a drink, but the sun gets pretty hot during the afternoon. I knew an umbrella would help, but I didn't think that was possible because of the placement of the set up against the wall. Then I came across these half umbrellas. I ordered the light blue one and it's so pretty and looks great with my set. It is made of quality fabric that should hold up against the sun and rain. I recommend and will be purchasing an umbrella cover, though, so it doesn't discolor and get stripes when it's cranked down because it will fade in the sun (they all do!). It's nice that it pivots to the left or the right, however, it does not pivot forward, which is why I gave it 4 stars. If we sit in the set in the afternoon, the sun is right in your eyes, and it gets pretty hot. I really need it to bend forward to block some of that sun. I may end up moving my Adirondack set so I can bend the umbrella to keep the sun out. Other than that, I love it and it's really a great idea.

Good quality, seemed sturdy. I measured wrong so it was too tall for my condo patio and I returned it (very easy to return) and did not test it. I would have gladly kept it if I could have made it fit.

The directions are a bit misleading because it was missing the collar part, but apparently they figured out how to put the part inside the tube. The directions indicated it as a separate piece, but when I got in touch with the company they straightened it out. I love it. Fits perfectly and covers the whole area. Worth the money. Good quality.

Really sturdy and well-made tilting half umbrella, arrived super fast. Has a pin for added security. The fabric is strong and stays taut against the metal ribs I.e doesn’t ride up like lesser umbrellas. Tilting function is great and easy to maneuver. The crank is well made. This was a score!! My only mistake is that I bought a half round base but this umbrella needs a much heavier freestanding base so I am switching it out to a 55 pound sand fill type base. This umbrella is too heavy even with a slight 5mph wind and will rock or tip over without a heavy weight base. I highly recommend this half umbrella, its really well-made and an excellent price Just make sure you get a weighted free-standing base.

Cute as a bug but very hard to open and close. You have to be standing up and use both hands. Would be nice to be able to sit down and open it up.

Fits right up close to the house and shades the window and keeps the kitchen cool
