This tape works wonders for everything I need held done, not just carpet. I knew a lot of events outside in this tape holds things down to concrete as well as on walls and poles. It is very adorable and leaves minimal to no residue. The only downside is the residue sticks to my scissors and takes some time cleaning, but it’s still well worth the money and a very good product.

I’ve been fighting the battle of getting my area rugs to stick in one spot while three kids sprint over them regularly, for years. I’ve tried everything. Finally, I used this tape to stick the rug to a rubber grip mat, and the mat to floor. Then I used corner triangle shaped double sided tape as well. It finally stays where I put it. I’m satisfied. It sticks well enough to be watch if getting it on your skin. I got three area rugs of heavily applied usage out of this and still have some left over.

I use this underneath my gym floor mats to keep them from moving around on the floor. The stickiness is really good and it holds the mats down even with my gym equipment sitting on top. It was easy to install and I didn’t need to use a lot of it. So far the mats have stayed in place and I haven’t had any issues with them moving. Good value for the money and does what I needed it to do.

I was shocked at how well this worked. When I first got it I was so skeptical but once I placed it on our carpet it was a game over. I taped a rug down and I couldn’t get it to life without pulling the carpet up. It’s strong. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is so sticky and strong, holds up so well and is so solid that I couldn’t lift up the rug I taped down without starting to pull the carpet off. It’s very legit.

Depending on where and how much you use will determine how well you think it works. I have pressed the tape down 3xs already on my throw rug. It is in a high traffic area. I do not expect it to stay on for very long. I think if you have a large rug and you just want to keep the edges down it will work but don't expect much on a throw rug that moves.

I used this in my classroom on the rugs that moved every day and I’m really happy that I did. I did wide triangle shapes on each of the corners and after a week of 4 year olds dancing on one rug and walking on another rug, the tape seems to be holding nicely. After lots of attempts with other products this one is the only one that lasted past 2 days so far. I love not having to waste time on putting the rug back or fixing bumps with heavy objects. It covered the corners of 1 very large lakeshore carpet and an 8’x10’ carpet. I also used some more tape on the side to hold those in place. I hope it comes up nicely at the end of the school year. That will be a June problem.

Used this for a rug 8X5. It is the best. Rug no longer moves

It does what it’s supposed to do. It held the carpet on wall-to-wall carpeting quite well just has to be replaced every time I move the big carpet.

Nice and sticky - perhaps a little too sticky but I think that is dependent on the backing material of the carpet. It is indeed true that you can use this particular tape to stick carpet to carpet. What do I mean? Winter. You may have an all year carpet in the hallway to the front door, and now comes snow and salt time. Most people put a black rubber backed carpet on top of their existing carpet to protect the year around. The problem with these carpets is that they often curl at the edges. So with this tape you can prevent the curling and people accidentally tripping on the winter overlay while at same time having peace of mind on not harming your year around carpet with goo.
