Q: Is this good to photograph the solar eclipse?

A six-stop ND filter really is enough to photograph the sun. I shot the 2017 eclipse with a variable-ND that provided 10 stops and even then was at my minimum aperture, slowest ISO eating, and the fastest shutter speed (1/8000) and could have used a couple more stops.

Q: Is it possible to connect another filter on the top of it?

Hello Angy,Yes of course, all our filters have front threads.Only other filter companies make filters without front threads, and we don't know why they do this. Graham

Hi Carlos, You would purchase a filter for the largest lens, 62mm....then you could use step up rings for the smaller lenses...52-62mm, 58-62mm.
