Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cleaning Wipes, 200 Count (Pack of 1)

Usually excellent product arrived dried out and sloppily packed. The Zeiss Lens Cleaning Wipes, when fresh, are excellent for cleaning not only eyeglasses but also camera lenses. I keep a supply of these handy individual wipes in my purse for glasses, and in my camera bag for cleaning lenses quickly in the field.My recent purchase arrived with the wipes dried out, and they were very sloppily packed. I'm returning this shipment. In the future I will buy these only as available in manufacturer boxes (available on Amazon) and hope they arrive fresh and usable.I do recommend Zeiss Lens Wipes, but I would further recommend that you check any shipment right away to be sure the wipes are of the quality you can usually expect from Zeiss, and that they are not dried out and therefore unusable for any purpose.

The box arrived today and is dated with an expiration date of 05/2019 which is great - that's two years from now! However, the date is only a label placed onto the shipping box. There's no indication of any date on the product boxes of the wipes themselves, only on the shipping label.I like the size of the wipes: 5 x 6 inches :)I like that the packaging is printed with Soy Inks.These are too dry. I opened two wipes and both are dry :( I don't expect lens wipes to be dripping, but I do expect an adequate amount of moisture to do the job.I've used lens wipes of various brands over the years and the only time I've seen wipes this dry were when they were very, very old.

If you're using these for camera lenses or something that only gets dirty with dry dust, then I'm sure they're fine. But for eyeglasses or any other scenario where something oily/greasy/sticky/otherwise is the issue, they're useless.The tissue isn't textured at all, or thick enough to aborb anything, so any substance picked up by the wipe will just sit on its surface, free to get smeared across the rest of the lens. They've got so little alcohol on them that it evaporates within seconds, and wouldn't be enough even straight out of the wrapper to actually dissolve any grease or oil and facilitate some absorption.As a result, cleaning my eyeglasses requires readjusting the wipe in my hand after every single pass across the lens, and even then there's still a mess of smears and skin oil left over that I can't wipe fast enough to outrace the rapidly vanishing alcohol. You need to use both wipes in the pair to get a half-decent clean, and still within seconds I'm just smashing dry tissue against oily glass.Completely dissatisfying purchase. Back to scratch-prone microfiber lens cloths and a spray bottle, I guess.

I buy these wipes all the time from various vendors. They usually come in a box. These came in little baggies. They are very dry. I can barely use them because they are so dried out.

I have used these for many years. They work very well and are always moist. I saw in the reviews were people were asking if they're safe on coated lenses. These will remove overtime the coating on the lenses. It works good for me because I have found that lenses are actually better without the coating. They claimed anti-glare anti this anti that but you can't ever get grease off of them and it's really a pain in the A. Once you get that anti-glare coating off you will find there much easier to clean. I'm old enough not to scratch my lenses with lack of care so I don't need any coating.

I am happy with these wipes. I used to use them only for my purse or for travel, but now I use them for home too. I used to clean my glasses at home with a liquid spray followed by wiping with a Kleenex or cloth. I was very frustrated with that routine because the cleaning itself was creating smears on my lenses, and I had to keep spraying and wiping over and over each time. It was so much easier when I traveled and used these wipes. It finally occurred to me that I should just use the wipes at home too...duh! The price turns out to be fine for using daily, and well worth the convenience. It's so much better because the wipes clean my glasses well in a couple of seconds, with no smears. I finally just threw away what was left in my spray bottle and ordered a supply of these wipes. I've been using the wipes exclusively to clean my glasses for a couple of years now, and it has made life much easier.

I keep these on hand everywhere, both my husband and I wear glasses so we keep this in our desk drawers, upstairs and downstairs, in the cars, in my purse. The little packets are so handy, they never go dry, they do dry quickly after they are opened but allow exactly the time needed to give glasses a good cleaning no matter where we are. I'm one of those people who can't stand a streak or smudge on my glasses, drives me crazy! I order them on subscription now so I never forget to buy them.

With one of these wipes I can clean my glasses is less than a minute. I rarely see any streaks or smudges after I use them. They eliminate the need to use sprays and trying to find a clean cloth to wipe only to see leftover smudges and smears. The lens wipes are clean and damp when you take them out of the sealed envelope, and you never need to worry about scratching your lens. You can carry several of them with you in case you need to clean your glasses when you are not at home. This is a great product!

I don’t usually post reviews but I had to this time. I’ve used Zeiss lens wipes for a long time and loved them, but since they are a little more money than other brands I decided to try out Braveshine and Mosslian brands - both of those had too much moisture left my glasses super sticky and streaky. So I repurchased the Zeiss brand and oh boy what a quality difference immediately. I didn’t think lens wipes could have such a quality difference but they do! Now that I’ve tried two other brands I can confidently say Zeiss has the best lens wipes!

Bought these to clean glasses when a cloth isn't good enough. Dries out a little quicker than I'd like but that could be just due to the humidity changes throughout the year. It gets the job done with minimal smearing.

this can definitely clear out oily and dirty glasses. I use it both for my camera lenses as well as cleaning my phone screen. Note that you need to use each packet quickly after opening before the alcohol evaporates.

I had ordered for one box of 200 lens wipes as shown in the image.Instead I received 6 boxes of 30 wipes each and 10 loose packets. This makes it 190 wipes whereas I had ordered for 200 wipes in one single box.I can understand that a single box of 200 wipes may not be available but, sending only 190 pieces in place of 200 is blatant cheating

These are great. I used to use my shirt but now cannot live without these. Keep my glasses clean and free of streaks and smudging. If your glasses smudge after one means you had too much gunk and you need to use a second one. Also, dont over do it. Couple wipes is good enough, otherwise you will be smudging
