Received this today and really like itI wish it came in boxed to protect it because it was in with other ordered items and the cover came ripped and folded.The binding isn’t tight having me believe this is actually used and not new with pages crimped in the middle until the middle. It also looks like a dirty hand ran down the bottom of the book leaving smudges. This was its delivered condition.The print is perfect size and this translation is the clearest and best there is coming right from the translation of Hebrew and Greek. Its understanding awakens your interpretation and soul.I would be thrilled if the book was in better condition, but the translation is fabulous.

Love my bible, easy to understand as is simplified

I own a few Bible's. Always looking for the perfect fit for me, larger font but not too large that the bible is huge, a study bible is great, but generally ends up being larger, bible verse connections and reference.This bible is perfect for me. I got the hard copy version donuts easy to hold up in bed, it remains solid, but yet isn't too large either. The font is large, and in each verse when applicable, there are verse references you can go to. At the bottom of each page is a small commentary if it applies to the verse.The pages are soft, but not too soft and the book lays flat when opened. I have yet to use a highlighter, but use the crayons made for bibles so they don't bleed through at all.This bible was also half price. It was the same price for the soft cover.I really enjoy the amplified version of scripture as well, as not only is it an accurate translation, but can take you on a journey via story.Overall, this is the best purchase I've made in a bible.

I love this version. I changed the cover by myself because I didn't like it, but that's preference.
