FT02 Digital Meat Thermometer -- Instant Read (2-4s) for Grilling Cooking Food BBQ, Oven, Grill, Water, Beer, Milk and Bath Water Probe

Easy and efficient. Accurate read and excellent price. I haven't used this with grill items, but I believe it would work better than with oven meats as one doesn't need to reach into a hot oven or mess with cooking temps by pulling the oven rack out to use.

This meat thermometer works well. It was priced just right and does the job it needs to. No frills, nothing fancy at all but it is accurate and small enough to stash away in the cabinet til you need it again.

It lasted about 2 weeks

While it worked, it worked well. After about 2 months it started giving totally bogus readings. I figured the battery was shot, so went to look for one of these. Good Luck! I now figure it's cheaper and with less risk to just buy another one (another brand of course)

This thermometer appears to be accurate and oddly, quite capable of measuring air temperature in a room. It's useful to test the balance of the heating system from room to room. Most cooking type thermometers are very poor performers in room temperature air.While it is accurate, readings are much too slow compared to the instant-read thermometers of a few years ago. This one sits in my drawer as a backup for the oven probe and the remote probe thermometers that tend to fail often. Every time I've used it, it was slow but quite accurate.I'd give it three stars for unlit LCD and slow reading, but since so far it has been reliable and accurate, four stars overall for now.Update:After 15 months of occasional use, one digit of the LCD display has missing segments. For the first 15 months, four stars for sure. Now, since the LCD is giving out, this unit drops a star. This product needs to be more durable.

This is a very simple, efficient, and accurate digital meat thermometer. I like how the probe is not very sharp, but sharp enough to be able to easily penetrate meat. It is accurate, and the response time is nearly instantaneous. The second I stuck this into my steak, the temperature on the digital screen started rising.

We cook a lot for our family of 7. We are either cooking something in the oven, on the grill or in the smoker. And when we camp? Yes, we cook some more! Even though I am an experienced cook, it is VERY nice to have a good, reliable meat thermometer when cooking meat. I am very particular about cooking my beef roasts to medium rare, and you have to pull it out of the oven at the correct temperature. Not to mention chicken being at 165 and don’t forget the perfectly grilled steak!I like this thermometer because it has a nice, large display. The thermometer also reacts and gives a reading quickly once you pierce the meat. The thermometer is sturdy and a nice size for being able to temp any size roast.I was provided this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. This review is based on my actual experiences with this product.

Worked well until the battery and the cap fell in the hot charcoal.Update: They sent me another one for free. Until now it's working. Thanks customer service!Update 2: It's been a couple months now and the new meat thermometer has been working as a charm. The battery lock cap is locking solid and it's not sliding as easy as the previous one. Thanks again for the excellent customer service!
