EasyWring Microfiber Spin Mop and Bucket Cleaning System

Love this mop! Doesn't drench the floor, but cleans without the need to hand ring! Was happy to get a replacement for an older version! Thanks for making such a great product.

I bought this mop system to use when cleaning my sister's apartment. Most of my house is totally carpeted, with only the bathroom hard surfaced, my sister's has a kitchen and bath that are hard surfaced. My mother always said the only way you could make sure your floors were clean were by doing them on your hands and knees. This is what I always did with my bathroom, but my sister had a recent injury with a staph infection and I didn't want to be crawling on my hand and knees with that possibility; hence ordering this product. As I mentioned in the headline it is a joy to use. You fill the water side with your cleaning solution, swish your mop around and then transfer to the spinner. Kick the spinner a few times and your mop is damp dry ready to go to work. You can control the amount of water left in the mop by the amount of spinning (Water extraction) you do. If you want a wetter mop, spin less. Dryer-More. I found that stepping on the pedal three times was enough to give a mop sufficiently wet to do the job, without being too wet to dry quickly. It even says you can use on laminate floors as the mop can be spun down to barely damp. I was so impressed with how easy it was to use, how nicely the mop picked up and absorbed, and in general what a quality system it is. I would highly recommend to those that have hard surface floors to clean.

My last spin-type mop was purchased many years ago from QVC and I loved it! However, the pedal on the bucket just broke and I needed to replace it. The O-Cedar mop fits the bill. The great thing is that my old mop can be used with this new bucket, as well as the mop that came with it. That gives me some options! I cannot believe how this bucket really spins so much of the water out of the mop! The trick is to not hold the mop tight and just let it go! Does a better than my old bucket. I have hardwood floors and like to wet mop it occasionally in between using Bona w/special mop. These floors cannot get too wet because it will ruin them, so this mop works great! BTW, for those posting that they can't get the mop dry enough, it's a matter of just setting the mop head in the bucket, hold the upper part of the mop handle lightly (actually, just guide it without really grabbing onto it), and then pump the bucket lever with your foot 2-3 times. It's that simple and it's amazing how much water is spun out of the mop head! Many of the negative comments indicate problems with keeping the mop extended. I notice the mop was a bit tricky when I first added the upper part and it wouldn't stay in place. So, I removed the end cap (red hanging piece) and then grabbed the lower and upper parts of the rod and TWISTED IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS UNTIL IT LOCKED IN PLACE. It worked perfectly! Then I put the red cap piece back on and have absolutely no problems with it at all! It's tall enough for me (5'7" and my husband 6'0'). Also, some complaints have been made about the mop head being hard to manipulate, not thick enough, etc. What I've learned from using this type of mop in the past (different manufacturer) is to make sure the mop head is placed flat on the floor with the threads/ropes splayed out evenly and using a side swipe method. This works very well on my hardwood and tile floors. The triangle part is nice for getting into the corners. Also, some people have made comments that it doesn't go behind toilets and that isn't my experience. It goes easily behind my three toilets, but, to be honest, I clean that area every time I clean the toilets so I'm not depending on the the mop being my sole source of cleaning those areas. It's a nice mop and bucket and the price isn't that bad. A reviewer also mentioned that using the same water to wash and rinse is not the way to go, but that isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned. I use vinegar with the water, squish the mop really good in the water before spinning, and I feel that my floors are clean. Vacuuming/sweeping before mopping makes a HUGE difference and even with two cats (and they are slobs), this keeps my floors really clean. I just don't understand all the negative comments.

Easy to use. Replaceable and washable mop heads. Bucket only needs to be half full so that the mop head basket sits above the water.

Expensive to have this shipped overseas, but if you mop this is a real timesaver. A bit large, so make sure you have closet room to store. An American convenience I can’t do without.
