Bought these to go over the ends of my tent trailer as it was cheaper than buying two gizmos. I was impressed at how well they work! I have a queen bed on side and king on the other. These tarps fit over reasonably well and I used bungee cords to secure them to the support bars under the beds. The tarps each came with their own storage bag which works perfectly for storing the tarps in the trailer when not in use. 10/10 would recommend.

I already owned the smaller Arturus Survival Tarp, but I wanted to get the XL version to have as an emergency shelter. It's HUGE!!! I removed the tarp from its sleeve (which is made of the same material as the tarp) and opened it up. It seems to be of very high quality and unlike lesser similar tarps, this one feels like it will last me for many years. Like the tarp material itself, the grommets are reinforced and feel like they will withstand some abuse. Due to the thickness of the material, it is heavier than my other tarps, but not overly so. I got the orange color which looks great with the black accents and will also make my position obvious if I ever need search and rescue (which I probably won't, but who knows?). Based upon the rugged quality, I am satisfied that it will be worth the price...this is a beast of a tarp!!! I am going to take it camping in a couple of weeks (Michigan in July!). If it's sunny, I will use stakes and poles to erect this into a lean-to shelter with the reflective side facing up. I think it will work well in this capacity. I am also a winter camper, so I will likely use it in the cold as a heat reflector by my campfire. Even though I haven't used this in the field (other than a couple of mock-ups in my house), I am happy with my purchase of the Arcturus XL Survival Tarp. The only con I've found so far is that once you remove the tarp from its sleeve, it's a bear to fold it tightly enough so it will fit back into it. The zippered sleeve is simply going to become a storage pouch for another tarp, I guess. If it doesn't perform during my camping trip, I will come back and update my review.
