NICE PRODUCT Initially ( for 45 sec - 1 min ) it has some connection issues during installation, later it began to connect and works very well with the WIZ APP I have been using past 7 months and no issue still now and the problem is there only limited colour range but it works well on automation and other wireless features like on/off , colour change , music synchronisation The brightness is good in " COLD MODE " The Size is 2 - 3 inch short compared to an traditional tubelight

The tubelight stopped connecting within 3 days. No longer accessible through your mobile, Alexa or any smart stuff. Now, that it doesn't connect you cannot use the dimming feature not change of colour. It is as good as a dumb tube light accessible through the switch. The real fun starts now, I reach the Wiz support, the app that controls the tubelight. And also Philips. The wiz support ran some tests with me, asked me to download certain app and declared the tubelight is faulty and needs to be replaced. He says raising a ticket and I will soon get an email. No email received. Meanwhile I directly wrote to Philips customer care and I get a response after 3 days that open ticket with wiz support. Now wiz says since you got mail from Philips we close this case. I had to make them understand I never got a replacement email. After 8 days of follow up, each person trying to chat well and saying they are doing something, nothing happened. Then , finally after lot of follow up, one person calls and says we will send replacement. On the 11 th day, one person from Phillips gives me an address of a store to go and check there if faulty, they will replace. If this was the solution that I need to go to a store ,why was this not told on first day. Why was I kept waiting that replacement would be sent? They test your patience so that the person gives up and does not come for replacement. To add to my woes, I have visited Philips center on 2nd dec, first the store owner acted ignorant. We don't replace online purchases. After reaching to Philips cust service they now they say leave tubelight here, we will send replacement by courier. And it has been 7 days , no replacement and no tracking link. Strict no no to buy Philips product

Philips WIZ connected tunable Smart Wifi LED Batten light with more than 108 lumen per watt is really bright light for room. You could connect it with WiZ app( however, it didn't got connected it the very first time but later got connected & became so smooth that I had never seen any glitch) change its colour temperature, increase and decrease its brightness and set ambiance as per mood. The WiZ app provides number of pre existing modes including motion sensors and dynamic lighting. You could also set your own custom mode. Really convenient for study rooms and focus areas. This light could be controlled by WiZ app or WiZ remote by Philips. It provides options for setting favourite modes and could be switched between them by your house light switch also without connecting to app or WiZ remote.

Performs to satisfaction

The bar itself is of great quality, feels sturdy. But the hanging mechanism (the stands) are plastic and the whole bar fell off the first time (the wire was strong enough to hold it, otherwise it would have broken) so please be careful. I have since replaced them with metal ones. Disappointed considering Philips is so well reputed in terms of quality. Had some difficulty connecting it the first time because it doesn't automatically detect it. You have to select bulb first and then you have to wait the entire minute for it to recognize it. Even then it says failed but after you reopen the map it works fine. It's very bright, brighter than most tubes on the market (had a jaquar one before which was around 75% of this ones brightness) while being the same size. The colors available are only shades of white, but these work really well. Even if the Wipro ones have color options their build is a no go.

Writing the reviews after 3 weeks of use: After going through mixed reviews, I planned to order one and check the product myself. Had a little problem setting up the product but realised if it doesn't gets proper wifi range it will give you a hard time setting it up. Once setup, it makes your life so easy. Setup an automation on the app and the light will work according to it. Turn on/off from anywhere. I like the bed time feature of the light. Design wise its nice,, Brightness is great (Can be dimmed from the app), app is user friendly. I hope i have the same feedback after months of usage 🤞

The screws given are bigger than the ones I had installed for another light before. They seem to be a bit plastic-y, so I decided to use the old screws. The light bulb itself is light, but quite big! The colors are quite good. Brightness is amazing 👏🏼 But the color temp. range can be better. I expected more yellow. The cool white is still a but warm for my taste. WIZ v2 app is good. It has so many features like candle light, pulsing lights, etc. which may be good for a dynamic environment. But, I find it a bit disturbing. The manual color temperature control is useful. It's easier to match the colors of any other existing light bulbs in the house. The sides of the bulb are burned out and blackened. It's only been a few weeks. Hope it'll last long.
