100% Polyester which is what is also called Microfiber

Q: does this have a zipper closure?

yes it does have zipper closer, which is why i'm returning! i specifically did not want zipper and that's why i ordered. but mine had a zipper and returning asap!

Q: I have a medium colored comforter. Will it show through this duvet?

The medium color shouldn't show through as I placed a black blanket between the duvet cover and the duvet and it didn't show through.

Q: Are there internal ties to hold the comforter?

Yes there is! On each corner their are small white ties to tie into your duvet comforter to hold cover in place.
