The whisk is very well made. With a twist and a click it takes shape. Turn it the other way and it folds down to a flat whisk.It is very easy to clean when it is flat. It stores very neatly in a drawer. No more yanking at the drawer and getting frustrated because the whisk is stopping it from opening!

I have a drawer cluttered with a load of whisks we never use so I cleared some out and bought this one. I love the fact it can be a balloon whisk or a flat whisk at a twist. I was recently making some polenta and found that as the food got thicker the balloon kept switching out to the flat as they isn't a mechanism on the whisk to keep it in place which would be ideal. I may also just have chosen the wrong whisk for the job. However, I have used it for stiring gravy, whisking liquids, eggs etc and it works very well so I will mostly use this one but I still have one of my other whisks as well for tougher jobs (like polenta!). I love the colour and they are made of good quality silicone. As with everything Joseph Joseph, easy storage has been taken into account as well as ease of cleaning. I have limited space in my kitchen and only have one large drawer for utensils and because these can store flat they are ideal for that too.

I'm actually writting a review for a whisk.. That's how good it is.I was set to not like this as I am a bit traditional in the kitchen, old fashioned appliances are better and all that but this has fully surprised me. I bought it for easier storage, the folding up part.. which works well. I was however surprised that I needed a lot less hand work with this whisk to achieve the same as my traditional whisk. I beat some eggs up in under 10secs with what felt like only a few turns of the wrist! Very impressed. 100% recommend.

Love this whisk, great to use in either setting, easy to clean and takes up less storage, have other Joseph and Joseph items always quality and worth the money paid

Previous silicone balloon whisks seem to fail so I opted to try this one - which was a bit more expensive but offers two whisks in one (balloon and flat). In terms of usability this is a much better option - the ability to select balloon or flat is really useful. Also makes for much easier cleaning (in flat whisk) and also for storage. Really a great kitchen tool, which seems to be well made and built to last.
