We’ve been using this hand sanitiser since the first lock down. We just wanted something a bit kinder for our skin and for the kids to use. We’ve only bought smaller bottles before so it made sense to by a big bottle to refill our single bottles. I did by a funnel as this helps massively but def worth it!

Lovely smell and doesn't make your hands feel claggy like gel! Amazing

Hand Sanitizer has become an essential product for a lot of people. This one is good quality but it is very liquid and runny. This is a refill bottle and it stated that it is to refill the spray bottle. I do not have the original spray bottle, just an empty flip top bottle, it would probably be more effective though and not be as runny if it was in a spray bottle.This is very moisturising and does not dry out my skin like a lot of hand sanitizer do. It is also easy to rub in. It is described as being a floral scent. It is quite a strong scent and I would describe it as more like an aftershave scent rather than floral. I do not personally like the scent but my Husband does like it a lot. I found that the scent lingered on my hands and so I did not want to use it just before I was going to eat as I thought that it would taint my food.This is quite expensive, and I don't think that it is economical for family use.

This Purdy & Figg Hand Sanitiser Refill arrived in a high end cardboard box, the glass bottle was well protected and perfectly presented.It was easy to fill my spray bottle using a funnel as this is a liquid sanitiser. I like to buy most things in bulk and use refill bottles to reduce the amount of single use plastic we use. As a family of five we were finding we were using a lot of single use items and each time I can reduce this I feel we are doing our bit for the environment.This hand sanitiser is not only good for the environment but it is also good for you, it uses natural ingredients alongside 70% alcohol. The smell is at first dominated by the alcohol but after that has evaporated you get the essential oils and the smell stays on your hands long after you have used it.My only negative about this product is the amount you need to use to sanitise your hands. It is directed that you use 3 sprays per hand then repeat after 30 seconds. That’s 12 sprays per sanitisation, which feels an awful lot. When I have used others as long as you rub the sanitiser all over your hands it has worked. This also takes a bit longer and isn’t as easy to do as using a gel.At £21.99 (May ‘21) with a 15% off voucher bringing it to £18.69 I find this a fair price for the amount and quality of product. I don’t think it is as user friendly as a gel but I do praise the refill ideology and impact that products like this have on the environment. For this reason I am happy to recommend this product and will use it as part of my family’s cleanliness routine after shopping etc.

Whilst we are all using sanitiser to clean our hands after every touch, it's nice to have something that pleasant to smell and nice to use.A little expensive I think, but a little goes a long way and it was easy to decant into smaller containers to carry with us.
