Damn good gloves. Way warmer in the mountains of Colorado than my leather 'work' gloves. About as warm as my welding gloves in the cold. Also, they have outlasted in durability in mining and handling several tons of granite in the mountains. I wear them winter and summer. They also breath better in the summer than my leather 'work' gloves.

Work part-time at a private airport. Use these to check aviation fuel samples in cold weather and handling glass cylinders in subzero conditions. The rubber material offers great grips so far down to -10C but the cold does transfer through quickly…so hands don’t stay warm for long. The rubber also provides excellent protection when handling tools and working around equipment. Too thick for detailed tooling, but otherwise work very well.

Buy these gloves; these are the ones you want. I needed wood cutting gloves that had some warmth and grip and was tired of the fingers wearing out of my leather or rawhide gloves. These gloves have a soft-rubber coating on the palm that wraps completely around each fingertip, but not the knuckle...making it very easy to flex your hand with full strength and grip. I ordered a 2-pack and have been using the first pair daily for 2 weeks and the only sign of wear is a small crack in the crease between thumb and index finger. All gloves wear out...but I can't believe the abuse these things have taken as I sling split wood around. Oh, and they work with touch-screens because of the soft rubber, Rediculous! I am buying 10 more pair.
