whats the maximum amout of bits the card can hold?

hi. These cards are IR antennas for access reading pads locks. I don't think or know to be any bits (memory) on them. Depending on the reader they can go to higher levels of frequency. I tried them for a hotel I worked for--no luck.. Unfortunately you have to keep on reading. Best thing woul be a hotel system worker. Good luck Best, Doru

do they come programed

Hi AlexNo,they are without programed, because different client need to write in different format.and the chip is original chip.if you want pre-programed,it's more cheap, and it's read only, can't writable.see the link below:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1L7NHIThanks.RegardsDavid Hong.

Can I punch a small hole in this and it still work?

yes,but please be careful of the coil inside. you can take a light to check where is the coil, and be careful to punch the coil. if you don't damage the coil,it will work for sure. Thanks.
