I bought this as I’m a cameraman and needed loads of pockets of batteries and what not. I’m very very happy with it. Didn’t give 5 stars because I’ve only had it a little while and don’t know how it will age.

Nothing to dislike.Excellent quality and service. I live in London and secure in the knowledge that I have plenty of pockets for my things. And my hands are free when in London and I don't have to worry so much about safety issues. The first time purchase and I have used it in my home town and felt very safe. I plan to use this garment in London soon. It's very comfortable to wear a lovely quality piece. Seems pretty good quality; but XL should have been easily big enough for me. It was too small. And I got a duck egg kind of green instead of the beige I ordered. I am going to try again - second time lucky maybe. Four stars, since I suppose that's what I'd give if the size had been right.

Generally OK but medium a bit too small for 40 inch chest, but large size is OK.. Two large inside pocketsare far too low down, sitting below your waist, so you have to unzip to access them, and any contentsmesses up any comfortable waist fit. It's early days but I hope to make use of the good points. A smallinside zip pocket for a wallet would have been very useful as well.

I have wanted a new waistcoat (gilet) for some years after my old one wore out. This one exceeds expectations. The material is cotton of a denim weave which is strong and fashionable.The fit was precise. I wear an XL sweatshirt, and the XL waistcoat fits over it perfectly.As a pipe smoker who is travelling, I need multiple strong pockets for wallet, pipe, pipe tool, reading glasses, passport, cash, handkerchief etc. Not wanting to carry a handbag I use a pocketed waistcoat. This one is perfect and I am glad I bought it. The inside pockets provide extra security for a passport and emergency cash, useful for avoiding pickpockets (I have been a victim in the past).Should also note this waistcoat is not overly long, and can be worn under an outside leather jacket without showing below.

Fishing or hunting this Gillette is ideal. I use it for hunting in the Supermarket

Made in China and it seems that the Chinese 3xl means something different. Pleased overall, plenty of pockets with zips so you don’t loose anything but whilst fitted fine across shoulders etc if I tried to do the zip up with items in the pockets it might just prove impossible. I have been wearing a 2xl from Regatta for years and this one was smaller, more like a fitted waistcoat. Satisfied enough not to need to return but it was close.

Well thought out product with loads of useful pockets. However, even at this price point it is disappointing to find the stitching failed in the zip in the first week.
