This unit works well and uses Bluetooth and so works with a host of devices. There is a small but manageable delay and the sound is somewhat tinny, which limits its usefulness for quality video recording. As an asistive device it will work quite well because of its universality.

This is the best quality product out there for the price you can get.

I used this by connecting the bluetooth mic directly to a Mac, without using the supplied receiver module, since the Mac can pair with bluetooth devices. I wanted to use this to to record my lectures.The should I got was either very weak, or very distorted. I could find no setting in which the audio quality was even remotely acceptable.The USB cables that came with the product were of very inferior quality, and they were unable to provide a stable connection for charging.I returned this product. In the end, I am recording with an Olympus recorder together with a wired lapel microphone.Not nearly as convenient, as I have to separately synch audio and video, but the quality is incomparable -- very clear audio from Olympus, very distorted from the Nolan.

The system works great. Make sure you read the manual. The receiver and mic both have volume controls and the audio levels need to be balanced. We are using these to replace our old infrared mics at a school district I work at. The mic is light and crystal clear. No lag! Highly recommend this system.
