This is the only cough syrup that actually settles my son's cough. He is susceptible to coughs, so I use this for two or three of the tough nights. It's reassuring that it isn't filled with chemicals. It's easy on his stomach. He doesn't love the taste, but when you're sick, I don't think anything tastes great.
