After this book I learned Norwegian Forest have many genetic problems which makes them a bad choice to breed. I will go with Siberians. MaineCoons have as common as squirrels!

Found the book not as useful as I would have liked. Alright for a person who has never had a pet but for breed specific information I'd suggest others for your information.

This was a very informative book, especially if you are a first time pet owner. I’ve had cats for many years, but it still had some interesting information. I would highly recommend this paperback. I’ve picked it up several times since I purchased it.

A wonderful book on the Norwegian Forrest cat and very informative. A very handy guide to have around the house.

I have only given 3 stars as I purchased this and another book at the same time and was Deja vue when reading second book, only needed the one. Also found the info although referring to NFC was to general, and did not give me the in depth info I was looking for

An informative book but more detail would have been good. Written for the US market so some of the organizations mentioned don't apply in the UK. Good general advice for owners of NFO's.

Good basic information for anyone interested in this beautifulbreed.Downside is that many references are to American sites. Useful tool for those looking to live with a Wegie for the first time.

Good all round knowledge... had to laugh bout the reference to keeping your cat safe during Hurricanes and earthquakes.... American author of course !!!
