Shelves thickness at least 1 inch, more even better (otherwise you might drill the shelf while making the hole for the supporting pin)} ☛STEP 2: Place your first hidden bracket against the wall, using a spirit level to make sure it’s level. Screw the bracket into place. ☛STEP 4: Slide the shelf onto the bracket to check that it’s level (use the spirit level to make sure). Once you’re happy with the position of this shelf and the way it looks, slide it back off the bracket so that you can position the rest of the brackets. ☛STEP 5: Once all the brackets are in place, slide the shelves on and fix into place with the small screws provided with the shelf, using the pre-drilled holes on the underside of each shelf. ☛STEP 6:Each bracket holds 20lbs, For heavier shelves please add extra brackets to distribute the weight. ☁☁PACKAGING INCLUDES: 4 solid screw brackets, 4 flat washers, 4 wall plugs ☁☁☁Buy with confidence! Bend easily
I was able to work with them but I would not buy them again. I thought this type with a solid screw going into a stud would be stronger than the ones with a flange and two holes, but it isn’t. They bend quite easily at the point where the rod steps down. Plus there’s a new challenge - drilling the pilot into the stud perfectly straight and level.I will not trust these with very much weight at all, they barely seem to support the shelf itself and sag under its weight. I would recommend getting the ones with a flange and two holes, and just lining one of the holes up with a stud.

Works great!
Worked great for thinner floating shelvesBut drilling a straight hole at this depth was a slight complication but the rockler drill guide came in for the win after starting the holes on the drill press.Would not recommend to use in metal studs though!Lag bolts are not centered for a reason.Allows you to adjust if your holes weren’t perfectly level.Small amount of adjustment but it works well!

Only for concrete walls.
These are not for Sheetrock walls. This should be mentioned in the description. I’d return them but most of it fell into the wall.

Best option I found for floating shelf but could be better
Come with cheap wall anchors but the bracket itself is good material and has some adjustment capability which comes very handy
