Had it for a while now. I have it attached to a ps4 as a SSD (solid state drive) for a MMO game. It definitely helps load zones, other players and Rank Hunts faster. Before sometimes I couldn't even see the hunt before other players killed it and I couldn't get credit for the kill. Now all high level hunts load fast and seems like a breeze to go on Hunt trains again. Was a good price when purchased, came very quickly and well packaged. Its so tiny though (smaller than the palm of your hand, great if you don't have a lot if room. One problem.... I had to buy an adapter to make it work with the ps4. Overall imo it's a great buy.

I am new to the Crucial line, but having seen that there was a daily deal on this SSD, I decided to purchase it. So far, I have no complaints. It is light, small. Now for those of you concerned for the transfer speed, all I can say is that this is pretty fast. I am not paying attention to if the transfer speeds are according to what is documented in the listing. I conducted my own test against a non-SSD device, and it clearly was faster. For an average Joe, this should suffice to know that this is clearly faster. What's in the box? A USB-C to USB-C cable which is about 10 inches long, and the SSD itself. For those who are constantly on the go or space conscience, this SSD is a great option. Price wise, it is a very affordable when you compare it to other brands that could be charging more for the same amount of storage.

Got the 500GB drive. I have two PCs, one with a Type-C port and one with only USB3.0. When the Crucial is plugged into the Type-C port I get 300-350MB/sec transfer speeds, very fast. When plugged into a USB3.0 port it is slower than an external SATA drive and I'm getting 35-40MB/sec, half the speed of the SATA, very disappointing. Generally, I only use it on the Type-C port. As others wrote, you need USB3.2 or the Type-C. Also, you only get a Type-C to Type-C cable and need an adapter; you'd think they would include one, could it cost more than a few pennies?

Been over 2 years with it and absolutely no issues. It works well and 500GB is plenty for something this portable!

I had bought a couple of off-brand flash drives, hoping to save a few bucks. In two cases, the wrong item was shipped, and in another performance was unreliable. So I decided to buy one with a brand name that I recognized like Crucial, even though it was a bit more expensive. Got it this morning, plugged it in, it mounted right up, and the whole thing feels very encouraging. A textbook example of “you get what you pay for“. One note, it comes with a very short (≈12 cm) USB–C to USB–C cable. So you may need something longer, or an adapter. I just happened to notice that, conveniently enough, the fine folks here at Amazon sell a Crucial brand USB-C to USB-A adapter for $8, if you need one. So, to sum up, so far, so good on this purchase. 🤔😉😊.

I’ve had this drive connected to an XboxX for over a year, I use it for my movie collection. I’ve had no issues with this SSD and the media loads fast every time. It’s small and easy to disconnect to use with other devices.

It came with some instructions which actually confused me. Works fine once I ignored them and realized I didn't need to configure any settings. Saved large amounts of files lightning fast for the first 50 GB, then notably slowed until 100 GB. After 100 GB, it varies, but is still fast enough to not be annoying.

2021年12月21日に￥7,800-で購入。すごくコンパクトで軽い、デザインもシンプルで艶消しでクールです。ボディはプラなので、冷却はどうかと思いますが、全然問題なさそうです。ほぼ屋内使用でそれほど酷使していませんが発熱も気になりません。スピードは体感ですが、かなり快適です。細かいところは色々一長一短があると思いますが専門的なことはよくわかりません。(どこどこまで読み込んだり書き込んだりしたら速度低下するなど、のそういうの) 三年くらいの使用で問題発生はゼロです。外付けコンパクトSSDとしてはこれほど満足度の高いものは珍しいのでは？ 残念ながら値上がりがすごいことになっているので購入は予算との相談になりますね。個人的にはオススメできます。

I needed a compact drive for Time Machine backups on my Mac. This Crucial SSD seemed perfect and arrived within 24 hours. It's a tiny 2.5 x 2.5 inch sliver of black plastic that weighs a couple of ounces. Comes with a short USB C to C cable, which is perfect for my M1 Macbook Air. Speeds are good, looking forward to using it for backups over the next few years.
