The shape of the leading edge of this net does a great job of funneling things into the net. The first one of these nets lasted me 2 years before the plastic started to degrade. Not bad durability for the price.

I love the scoop edge on this skimmer that allows me to scoop up debris from the bottom of the pool right into the net. Extra large capacity with a mesh that's perfect for large debris, yet fine enough to still allow me to pick up dead bugs and mosquitoes from the surface of the pool. Sturdy and robust, I Highly recommend.

This thing is amazing. The net is extremely thick, the soft lip makes it easy and less scary to run along the bottom of the vinyl liner, and it is capable of holding a ton of leaves (and baby snakes, but that’s a different story). So far it has lasted an entire pool season perfectly!

This skimmer is great for two reasons: the tight weave and the flat lip that allows for skimming along the bottom. It captures all the things! Perfect. If the rim is a little warped when you first get it, simply leave it in the sun for a bit, then reshape to make it flat.

I've had this about a year and a half. Almost immediately upon receipt I noticed it wasn't as good at scooping/scraping the bottom of the pool as my previous. The thickness/angle of the "blade" just isn't quite right. It usually will just slide right over top any leaves. I have to thrust it towards the leaves and produce a wake to cause them to rise a bit before scooping. It's annoying. Skimming the surface is good and the net holds a lot. Also, after a year and a half, I am pleased with the durability. The net is still intact and the plastic looks good. And I hang this thing out in the Florida sun all year long.Bottom line, I semi-regret this purchase and won't buy another. But if you are looking for a durable net that does a good job with surface skimming at a low price - this is it! If you're hoping to dredge leaves from the bottom, you will be annoyed.

Durable strong extremely high quality… only down fall is no handle which it does state but no quality handle available to match this we used an extendable paint handle as it has the strength to drag through a pool
