One of the two strays that adopted us several years ago has been showing increasing signs of arthritis. I have arthritis, so I recognize the signs. I was leery of the cats rejecting this as they do so many new things, but they seem to love it. I give it one pump over their canned food in the morning and they polish it all off during the day. Without this product, there was normally quite a bit left in the bowl. So, the first step in giving cats medicine is to get them to actually ingest it. Step 1: Success. Now, does it work? Again, I have arthritis and am aware nothing fixes it and nothing works overnight. However, the calico cat that was developing quite a noticeable limp has begun walking with the limp much less apparent. The other cat, who we think is younger, has not shown any signs of arthritis, but since we started treating their canned food with this product, she has become more active and more playful than normal. There haven't been any other changes in diet or lifestyle, so we attribute the change to Best Paw Nutrition. In reading the ingredient list, I find most of the ingredients that are recommended as non-prescription treatment for osteoarthritis in humans. So -- final analysis? They readily consume it and it seems to have led to improvement in both cats' lives. That's worth the five-star rating.

I truly like this product. You can see the results fast. I have used this products before for seniors dogs and works beautiful. I saw improvement in pain management and movement. Now I got it for my 2yo shitzu who is very active and was recently diagnosed with patellar luxation grade 4 and I hope this helps. He's very active and jumps from everywhere thinking he has long legs. I want to avoid a major damage and rapid recovery. I trust the brand

Every night I put both this glucosamine and the salmon oil from this brand. My two dogs are both fairly young, however my parents dogs are both elderly. I bought this the first time for both sets of dogs. It's tough because I'm happy that my dogs are getting glucosamine, however my parents elderly dogs did not see any improvement in their mobility issues. My dogs do like the taste of this additive to their food, so I do like that it is a low-maintenance and easy way for my dogs to get the nutrients that they need. My only other complaint is that the pumps that these come with often dispense what I think is too much product, though I'm no expert. This isn't cheap though, so the pump producing that much just means you will have to repurchase more often. You can fix this by finding a bottle with a bump that dispenses a little less, and putting this inside of it. Overall we haven't experienced any issues, digestion or other, so I do recommend giving this a try, but the salmon oil from this company is the real winner!

I am giving this the full 5 stars because it appears this product just might be doing its job. I bought this in conjunction with the salmon oil offered through the same manufacturer and squirt both liquids together on top of both of my dog's dry dog food. When I first got this product, I noticed that this product was much too rich for my German Shepherd's tender system and even with the smallest introductory amount, she ended up with the loose bowels, gas and gurgling stomach. So, I decreased to zero, and tried another introductory method after her stomach settled down and all was calm again. What I ended up doing was getting a container, fill it with 3 cups of dry dog food, then squirt a very small amount if the salmon oil along with the same small portion of this glucosamine liquid on top, then mixed together within the closed container. I think I hsve increased to 2, almost 3-1/2 squirts each now. Then, slowly began introducing a saturated dry dog food cookie at a time until I now can feed her 3 - 1/8 cups a day without my German Shepherd experiencing an upset stomach. Once I was able to conjure an introductory system which worked well for my dog's sensitive digestive system, and felt she now has received enough of the liquid glucosamine for it to be effective, I finally feel confident to leave a review. At the height of her discomfort, beginning mid-December, January and February, she whined constantly. My once peaceful night's rest had become hours of concern, worry and constant care toward my dear dog's sudden bout of pain and discomfort. This broke my heart to realize she was in so much pain and beginning to feel the discomforts of hip issues which plague this particular breed and larger dogs. Despite all attempts to keep my dog well, keeping her weight to Vetenerary recommendations, watching her diet intake of foods and treats, exercise, etc. my dear girl was in serious pain each day and nothing I did quieted her discomfort. I have been using this for a couple of months now and I admit due to calmer, warmer weather, this might be attributing toward her pain relief and also assisting toward her restful nights. Yet, I did introduce this product during her most painful months, begging around mid-January, February and continue to feed this to her daily and, she hasn't whined at all. I know from now on, despite the cost, I will continue to incorporate this product into my dog's meals as I hope this is assisting toward a better life and relief of pain for my best friend and family.♡

**Update** They are on their 4th bottle and I have definitely noticed a difference in everyone. They are more playful, running around more often and no more grunts when jumping down from furniture. My 12 year old is running up and down the stairs again. She had been slowly taking one stair at a time. All of my cats will remain on BestPaw's glucosamine indefinite. Very happy it has helped them so much.*** I started giving BestPaw to my cats last week. I have tried so many different types and brands of glucosamine supplements, but not all of my cats will eat them. I didn't want to buy a bunch of different products every month, I wanted just one product for all of them. Finally, BestPaw is a winner with all of them. I have started them off with half a pump in each of their bowls on top of their wet food each morning. With other supplements, there would be a ton of food left because they didn't like the taste of the supplement. Now they eat every last bit. I can't attest to how well it works at this time, but at least I've now found something they will ALL eat, which is half the battle. Gotta get it into their bodies first to see if it actually works. I will update later with results.

The vitamin itself helps my animals but the bottle leaks out of the spout. Each one that I've bought has leaked and I've lost so much of it. It was all over the bottle before I washed it off.

Excellent supplement for our 13 y/o Siamese. He was crawling up steps and growling when petted. Now he's running, jumping and climbing again. It's such a blessing to have this medicine for our boy. This is my third order and I'll continue as long as needed. Thank you so much. Regal is now 15 and still going strong. I've increased the dosage lately as he's not eating all his breakfast food with the glucosamine and having difficulty climbing up on chairs. He doesn't do high jumps anymore and his energy is waning but he's still active and we're happy. We'll continue until the end to purchase this product. It's a life saver. After well over two years, Regal is still taking Pure Paw with his breakfast food. There are times he doesn't finish the serving and is noticeably stiff. After two days recently of his not eating his food, I put the glucosamine in a separate dish and he ate it. He seems to know he needs the medicine. We love him so and make his life as comfortable as possible and that includes a daily dose of Pure Paw. Thank you so much. After a 500 mile move, I was concerned that Regal would not make the adjustment. However, he is better than ever and going on 16. He's been chasing Cicadas around the yard and deck. He hasn't done that in a long time. We first moved into a rental home then we purchased a home with a large deck and back yard. Regal loves it! He has a lot of freedom and though he doesn't stray from us, he has freedom... something he never had before. We enjoy him so much and treasure every day with him. My pitbull had just torn his acl and healed from it but what still having joint problems, I put him on this and he’s running and playing again! I also wanna add that he is allergic to chicken so we tried the bacon flavor and he absolutely loved it! Edit I have been using this since 2020, recently seen that other products was using more glucosamine mg (this one use to be the highest mg on here) so I decided to try something new, tried 2 other products and my dog declined, he has bad stomach allergies so I thought it was that but as soon as I put him back on this he was the happy go lucky dog WITHIN DAYS, yes days… this stuff normally takes a month but I just can’t rave on the product enough.
