Do you need to use uv protector on this product?

No. https://www.amazon.com/EternaBond-Mobile-Sealant-Repair-Authentic/dp/B07F9659ZT/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&m=A3GG04H8D34CC9&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&qid=1599366637&s=merchant-items&sr=1-6

For use on aluminum horse trailer, can it go directly over existing caulking?

Yes.. as long as the tape covers over caulk or silicone on both sides at least an inch.

Can it be installed with two layers over screw heads?

What I usually do is clean off all of the old layers over screw heads, wipe down the area to be covered with Lacquer Thinner, put a small amount of new caulking on top of the screws and while it is curing, put the EternaBond over the entire set of screws keeping them in the middle of the tape run.

Will it work on a metal mobile home roof to cover over the seams before kool sealing

I put it on a Winnebago roof that was a sheet of aluminum. It works very well and seals leaks. It is very sticky and sticks to anything it touches so you have to be careful in application. Once it touches something it is difficult to impossible to remove it. Very pleased with the product and would use it again.
