My dogs are completely mesmerized. They live the texture and the intensity if the lights. They have lasted years, but the chew them fairly fast until the mechanism inside is broke and they no longer flash. I only let them have the broken ones when I am watching as I afraid they will get them open, but it has not happened yet. My dogs are very very spoiled, and these are probably their absolute favorite. I have bought quite afewy, and will buy more. I cannot imagine dogs that are not infatuated with these. Not cheap when you add in shipping, but they are amazing and worth it to me.

First I was impressed that when I opened my package there was a personally written note saying to please contact if I had any questions. I thought that was a nice touch since I had read been comments and reviews about the battery is having difficulty lasting. I had no such problem. I had many happy hours of playing with my grandson with the ball both outside and when his mother wanted to go shopping I took the ball and he and I happily found a quiet place in the store where he could happily hear the music which is not too loud and be delighted with the bounce. The quote from him aged 16 months was “more”. Fabulous fun. Sadly I had to leave town but I’m sure he is still enjoying the ball and since the order comes with three balls, lots more fun to be had.

Out of my first order came 3. Out of 3, one did not work at all, the other 2 did. When bounced, it makes noises and has different colors. I did contact the company and told them about the one not working and not only did they replace that one, I got 2 more out of it. Out of that order, 1 worked and the other 2 just changed the colors when bounced and no sounds. I had to give this 4 star rating to the company for going out of their way to make things right. Out of the balls I have, only 2 are working. They are very durable though as he can play with them for hours and we have had these now for a couple of years now.

I am glad we received 3 of these, because 2 of the 3 broke the first day we played with them. After our two Boston Terriers chased them around and chewed on them while bringing them back to us for about an hour, they no longer lit up. They are a great size for our dogs, they can easily catch them and grab them. The one still functioning one is great for our dog that cannot see well anymore, and has helped him be able to participate in his favorite game (chasing the ball). I just wish all three had lasted longer because the two broken ones just sit unplayed with now.

The balls are good quality and when bounced light up and make sounds. The problem is it isn't continuous. They stop and have to be bounced again. My small dog just can't bounce it enough to get it going again. So she loses interest. Three balls came in the package and they are nice rubber.

I have a frisky dachshund, and she likes to chase balls. And this was a fun toy for about 30 seconds. It did light up and make some noise, but after just a few tosses, it stopped making noise and then another toss and it never lit up again. it is still in use, as a plain, bouncy ball, but I can get a rubber ball at Walmart for 99 cents. I would not recommend this product. It came in a set of three and all 3 had the same, very short, life span.

My 11 month old, very active, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is bored and scared at the same time by this ball. I purchased this item as it was advertised as soft vs hard plastic. That is true. It is a nice soft ball. It only makes ONE SOUND and it is very irritating. The LIGHT ONLY STAY ON FOR A FEW SECONDS, not what I dislike about it. This is not the toy for my puppy as she has too soft a mouth for it. The ball fits in her mouth and is about the size she enjoys but she cannot bite it hard enough to cause the lights and noise to come on and for just seconds, then it is a dead ball. Remarkably for a Cavalier Annie has figured out that to make it "work" she has to bring it up on the couch and drop it onto the floor. IF it lands hard enough it will light up and make noise. It was extremely easy to return, not sure if I will be paying postage back as well. Seller contacted me and was unhappy about my review, I have edited it to be sure some of the blame for the balls not working was that my dog has a very soft mouth. That saying I could not make them light up with fist pressure either, I too had to slam them on a hard surface to make them light up and make the noise.

My dogs love these balls. They light up great, are soft enough to not harm teeth, and make a great sound. We are in an apartment with wood floors over concrete, so when we threw the balls high and hard, they did stop the sound due to hard impacts eventually. Probably would not be an issue with carpet or wood over wood. So, we toss a little less hard and don’t throw up in air 6-7 feet and the additional balls are keeping their sound. One of my dogs is blind and he loves chasing this ball hearing the sound. It’s not unusual for a ball to lose its sound when throwing to high and hard against a wall. Every ball we’ve ever bought for this purpose, in the past, has lost its sound eventually. It makes sense due to extra hard impact. But these are built so well that with a little less height in the throw and not pitching the ball full speed should make all the features last well. My dogs sleep with these balls in their mouth. It’s adorable.
