Three pieces were broken. Poorly packaged. I ordered a second set, hoping I would be able to get a full set between the two orders. The second set I ordered also arrived with three pieces broken. Very disappointed with the packaging. The dishes are fine.

I wanted the simplicity of white for my dinnerware, and so this set seemed a sensible choice. Well made, and in the right sizes, it fit my needs and my budget. I like that the plates are sloped and form a small well that holds sauces nicely, or can keep food stuff from sliding off. The bowls are excellent for ice cream, mixing spices, beating a few eggs. Everything in the set has a nice heft, and so imparts a feeling of quality and craftsmanship. If I could have purchased something similar with smooth edges I probably would have gone that route, but that is a personal preference rather than a criticism of this excellent set.

These plates exceeded my expectations! I bought these dishes for every day use with my messy, accident prone family and they have held up great so far! They feel heavier/sturdier than expected for the price. No chips or cracks yet (I have only had them a couple of months but we are pretty hard on our dishes.) Also, I love the little lip on the plates that help prevent spills. Only two small inconveniences: the bowls came with many teeny tiny strings of glue or something on them that needed to be pulled off, and the lip on the large plates makes it so they won’t stand up straight in my dishwasher. I’m very happy with this dish set overall and plan to get more when my family inevitably wrecks these.

Overall I love these plates, they're unique which I love.However, I'm not happy with the quality because I cut things in the plates with knives... forks... it didn't matter and it leaves marks on the plates and they're brand new!! Not even 1 month old. Very disappointing

Ordered an inexpensive melamine set for a small kitchenette. Upon unpacking, a salad plate was broken into several pieces but, trusting Amazon, I ordered a replacement, which arrived promptly. However, this set had a broken dinnerplate. So much for being cheap, I ordered a set of Le Tauci which arrived today. Twice the price, $26 more, no big deal. They are ceramic, not cheap plastic and were extremely well packed, nothing broken. Very nice, worth the $50+.
