I had this for Sunday lunch followed cooking instructions in .y air fryer and it was perfect want to order again shame it's out of stock best gammon joint I've ever had

Unlikely to buy again
2nd time of purchasing and possibly the last, the first was not certainly not exceptional however this joint was SO SALTY that it was almost inedible, and any remains after dinner were put straight in the bin rather than saving for sandwiches.

Great value!!
After soaking for 24 hours I boiled for 20 mins and roasted it for an hour stopping every 30 mins to glaze it and the result was perfect!!I used my own recipe of peach brandy, honey and mustard for the glaze.

Just rolled fat
Boiled then glazed in the oven but when carved it was hunt the meat?? Have had this before and thought it was a little but fatty but this was clearly ridiculous

Now this actually is a lovely piece of meat, I usually soak or boil for 1hrs in water to remove excess salt . I then dress it and roast for 30 mins. However, and here's the big thing, I purchased on a deal, I would not pay the full asking price, simply because of the amount of fat. Once cooked and cut, removing all fat, a 1kg pack yielded 400g of meat, the second pack only 280g of meat the rest was pure fat which went to the birds. Now if you don't mind fat on your bacon you'll get much more. But be prepared for lots of waste. I'll be honest, I would not buy this again, it's not value for money.

Dreadful
I have been cooking gammon joints for 50 years and this has to take the gold medal for the worst ever! By the time it had cooked and the lumps of fat had been removed, it hardly made a dinner for 2 small eaters. 1 star as the flavour was good on the tiny bits edible.
