Please note there is void about 1.7 inches tall between the tray bottom and the removable hutch base! So it is not suitable for those tiny bunniess(especially new born ones) less than 2 inches tall.

Worth the Purchase!
This cage is great. It is decent quality for the price and super easy to assemble. Most importantly, it has good function for its purpose. It has convenient access for cleaning and scooping out your bunny. The top opens and there is a door on the front - both with decent sized openingings. The entire bottom is a tray that pulls out which makes cleaning very easy. There is a wooden floor to lay down in the covered portion which is nice for their sleeping area. I placed a small, comfy bath mat in there for cushioning. Some people have complaints that the tray isn't deep enough but I don't agree. I use a blanket at the bottom opposed to loose bedding so it has been perfect and if my bunny did end up peeing on the tray, it is deep enough that it won't leak over onto the floor. The bunny pictured is a 7 year old dwarf mix. Not sure on exact breed as he was adopted from a shelter.Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the cage could be a little bigger or at least have an option for sizing at the time of purchasing. It gives enough room for moving about and stretching but you definitely need to have your bunny out for additional exercise time with these smaller cages. All in all very happy with it. It is stylish too and looks great in the living room! We added some lights in the spirit of Christmas.

It’s cool, but ...
The style of this is awesome! The critter seems to really love it! But. The wood on it is a raw pine (I think it’s pine) my pig started to chew on it right away so I’m not too sure how long it will last. I didn’t add the wood floor to it. I’m not sure why that’s even added. The urine of your animals will destroy it. Plus I’d imagine the pee smell on it would linger in your home as well. (Gross)I added a bunch of bedding down and all is well on that front. The tray that slides out is shallow. It could be deeper. That way the bedding that is laid out wouldn’t spill over.I don’t regret the purchase tho. But it needs to be thought out a bit more. For the price I paid they should have spent a bit more time tweaking.

Great for my free range rabbit. Looks great in main living space.
Just set it up. Very impressed of how easy it was to assemble. It looks fantastic. My only complaint after first set up is that it has a very strong smell of paint/wood/chemical, it’s kind of an odd smell but it is strong. But I’m sure it will fade soon. With the divider/separate hideaway area it seems smaller than my last cage but it’s not really. So I am interested to see how my rabbit reacts long term. I would like to note my rabbit is free range 24/7. This hutch is simply a retreat when he wants nothing to do anything or anyone and it’s his litter box space and of course his pellets and water . If I had a rabbit that was caged the majority of the time I don’t think if would be enough space . Honestly without a diy type none are enough in my personal opinion. I’ve experienced how well rabbits can do free range just like a cat or a dog. Why restrict them to such a small space when they are the same size animal?

Junk!
This product looks amazing online.... everything you would want in a pet cage. When I opened it...I thought it was a complete joke....looks like it was primed not painted, wood is splintering, holes and cracks in the wood filled with some material that's darker then the primer?? wtf...Don't waste your $$ or time. Needless to say it's going back.

My Bunnicula likes it.
I bought this hutch for my dwarf lionsehead bunny. He has enough space to move around and stretch. The assembly was a little one side wasn't actually built properly but figured it out. My bunny is litter trained but I still line the bottom of the cage with newspapers highly suggested. Cleaning is a breeze take a sponge, warm water, a dab of animal friendly soap and wipe down the insides and outside. It doesn't collect alot of dust.
