This item came damaged. One bulb blew and the other goes orange not the full ultra violet it should be. No paperwork in packaging. So I don't have any way to contact seller. Very disappointed. It wasn't a knock off and was advised by Dr. to buy this specific brand. He literally handed me info while in his office. I sure hope to get a replacement or a refund. UPDATED REVIEW I contacted customer service on the damaged unit I received. Seems Amazon was at fault here, not steriShoe. Stephanee at SteriShoe was of great help and was able to resolve the problem. I am happy SteriShoe stands 100% behind their product. That customer satisfaction is their priority. It reduces odor in my already stinky shoes, but doesn't completely eliminate the odor and it only lasts one or two wearing before I have to repeat the process. It does work better than sprays and I am hoping that it will keep the smell out of my new shoes.

I purchased this in late April and as soon as it came in, I began using it. It worked great and I had no problems using it on my sandals. I learned quickly to make sure it was out of direct sunlight from the window so it would work correctly and not get an error code. Now, 3 months in and it just stopped working all together. I did like the product until it stopped working but it's a rather expensive product for just 3 months of use! The poor quality of it earns it one star.

Unfortunately I caught toenail fungus after a severe injury to the toenail that required surgery. It took a long time to heal. Thinking it was all well I went to FL and walked around in wet areas and wet shoes. Unfortunately I got toenail fungus in my left great toe which caused it to need to be removed once again. My nail has grown back now and again still with fungus. I'm going to a specialist for treatment. Part of the treatment is to make sure I don't reinfect myself by wearing shoes that have fungus in them This device is very easy to use. I use it as described? , it takes 45 minutes, once you set it, it runs and turns off. That's it, easy as can be. I think the price of this device is reasonable. Of course, I've only had it for a few weeks so as far as it will last Ì don't know. It does seem fairly simple so maybe it will have a long lifetime..

This works pretty well and is smaller and easier to use than the previous model. However, after a year of gentle use the connecting piece just broke off and I can’t use it at all now. It seems cheaply made for the price.

My podiatrist suggested I purchase a shoe sterilizer to help with my athlete's foot fungus problems. I had never heard of a shoe sterilizer before and worried that it was a scam, but decided I would try anything to resolve or at least lessen my issue since I have been dealing with it for so long without resolution. I use this product along with a twice weekly foot soak and my foot fungus problems have improved dramatically, so much so I can once again wear sandals without having fears about my feet! The sterilizer also helps with any odor from my shoes- my husband even noticed and commented on the improved smell of my shoes. I love this product and would buy it again. I have had the same unit for two years. One note, if there is sunshine on the bag there is too much light for the product to work properly, so make certain it is in a dark area.

Please furnish me with the manufacturer's contact number, for I need them to replace/send me new bulbs. The UV lamps are NOT turning on. I keep getting a constant red-color fast-flashing light. This works much better than my other cheaper brand. The safety feature are frustrating though.If the cord is twisted or the ground in not level (live in an old San Francisco bay house), it won't turn on.I by-passed the light sensor that prevented it from turning on by taping dark tape over the sensors.It's to keep you from being blinded from the UV light, but I leave my shoes on a shoe rack and don't hang around that part of the house.
