Prepac Milo Mid-Century Modern Tall 6-drawer Chest - Black

This came in a 70lbs+ medium to large box the length of the dresser. A screwdriver with a Phillips head was needed (not included). I would suggest a drill, there are a lot of screws! Putting it together took about 2 hours non stop but the instructions are very easy to follow and clear. It’s a sturdy heavy piece, one that you would find at a nice furniture store.I love that it’s mid century modern! It has an antique look but blends perfectly with the modern style home I have.The drawers are a great size, much larger than I anticipated.

Please do read before you buy. This is a cheap dresser so it obviously is not going to be the best quality. Ikea-ish in comparison as many are saying. That is not a major issue you get what you pay for. The drawers have a medium to small amount of space, open easily, and the finish on the dresser is fine. Mix of real wood and MDF. Back is bare non painted MDF. What is an issue is that they sent me a dresser with several missing parts (and one side of it was even Massively warped to the point where it barely fit together but I won’t even get into that, just be aware they might send you warped or damaged things). I called the company right away (because their email and form nonsense for parts seemed like a lot of red tape), not long wait time for customer service so I had high hopes. The woman was helpful and sent me a confirmation email that my parts were coming. However, I never received a UPS tracking email which she said I would receive when it shipped (within 1-2 days I was told). This has been over a week now and I have not heard anything about if my replacement item (fault of the company) will even get to me. When a company makes a mistake like sends you something broken or doesn’t send you everything you ordered, in my opinion good customer service in this case means going the extra mile (maybe express shipping it so I don’t have to sit here with a partially built dresser for 2 weeks now.) because THEY were the ones that made a mistake (and you have paid them your precious dollars only for them to mess up!) and Prepac has gone less than a mile. Even If they send me the parts sooner rather than later, my review stands. It’s ridiculous a moderately expensive (for the quality) brand new dresser would be missing parts, but “mistakes happen!” aside it’s even more ridiculous that the customer has to be left wondering if a replacement will even come. Yes I have reached out again and am awaiting a response, but I should not have to jump through hoops to be given something I paid for in full in the first place. Do better.

This dresser fit perfectly in a somewhat narrow space. It was relatively easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy/not flimsy. It has reinforcement pieces for the drawer bottoms, which I think will help it stand up to extended use. It looks like a more expensive piece and fits well with mid-century modern decor.

I normally don't leave reviews but as much as this is a solid product, there were 2 things that decrease the quality of the dresser. First there was a small piece of wood that was chipped on the outside of the side panel. I would've been okay with it had it been on the bottom or on the inside. The second issue was that in the manual, all of the parts were numbered and lettered, however, the pieces themselves were not marked. I have put together a lot of furniture so I feel like I am experienced than most and it was still kind of difficult. I've contacted the retailer about the damaged panel and will update if they get back to me. Overall its a really nice piece of furniture but you definitely need two people to carry and assemble it!

This might be one of the best looking, most affordable midcentury dressers out there, but for good reason. This arrived damaged, and I had to reach out to customer service three different times for replacement parts. Each time they arrived damaged because of how poorly they packaged them. It also took them 2 to 3 business days in between responses, and then a week to a week and a half for all replacement parts to arrive. This entire process has been draining and stressful. My dresser is finally assembled with damaged parts and the drawers don’t even open all the way, halfway at most. The drawers are also tiny. I had to get rid of a bunch of clothes from my previous six drawer dresser. Save your money and get something else PLEASE.

I love mid century modern design. This dresser is tall, but just wide enough. The materials are great and sturdy. It took a bit to put it together but the instructions were spot on and keep me going! Im a snob and I love this dresser. The best part is the drawers are so smooth opening and closing. Great feature!!

Heavy and sturdy. Easy to assemble just lable the parts before you start. A little expensive but it looks really nice. All drawers lined up well. Overall a good quality piece of furniture !

I have the matching side tables too and it looks nice together. don't neglect to secure the bottom of each drawer bottom pieces i know it takes longer but you need it

Pieces were not indicated on each item, you had to take guesses. There was a Manuel but still confusing. Took 2 people 3 hours to put together. For that price you’re better off getting it ready made.

I actually found this very easy to put together (I’ve put together a lot of Ikea!). Took me two hrs. Having a drill helps with drawers. Love how it looks. Only complaint is one small but important screw was missing. It’s seems to be holding fine without it, but annoying nonetheless. Great value for the price!

Very poor quality!!!!!! Every time I pull open a drawer it falls out of the track. Sometimes 2 or 3 drawers are falling into each other.
