The description in the title (outdoor use) is misleading since the label on the product states not for outdoor use.

I've had this product for less than 2 months. This evening our bedroom end table light started flickering. My first thought was to tighten the light bulb. The bulb was fine so I checked the electrical connection. My lamp cord plug was half way in and half way out of the extension cord socket. Investigation revealed the connection socket on the extension cord would not securely hold the lamp cord. I checked the third socket opposite side of the extension cord and that was woking fine.I now have a $13 dollar extension cord that has only 2 o the 3 sockets working. This is a shame because the extension cord is rather sturdy and appears well constructed.

The Amazon page says, "Flat Plug Extension Cord, with a space saving design, letting you keep furniture against wall safely." The plug is a right-angle plug, but it is 15/16 inch thick, considerably thicker than a "thin" plug needs to be, and thicker than is ideal for one that will be behind furniture.

Think of this as an outlet multiplier (from 1 to 3) more than anything else. The reason I say that is primarily because the plug for the outlet has the cord coming out in the down position. Which means, for most standard outlets, it needs to be used in the bottom outlet plug if you want to use both plugs. If you use it in the top plug it will prevent access to the bottom plug. That is my oversight but be forewarned. Beyond that, they seem sturdy and do reduce the amount of space needed for the outlet. They are not necessarily a slim-line plug but do require less space than a tradition extension cord. They allow furniture to be pushed closer to the wall.

Although this is marketed as an indoor/outdoor cord and the cardboard sleeve says it is, it is NOT. Nowhere on the cord itself or attached labeling does it indicate it is for outdoor use. When I inquired, the response from seller was “This cord is for indoor use only”. What a scam! Buyer beware!

These were perfect for my purpose. I have power outlets in the vanity under my bathroom sinks, and a couple of the items I plug into them have pretty massive wall-warts (power adapters) at the end of their cords. Using these frees up the space immediately in front of the plugs so I can place the large power bricks nearby but without have to find space of some unnecessary length of extension cord. The only thing I wish was different about them would be if the actual plug would rotate so that I could get the cord to come away from the plug to the side as opposed to down as this means I can only use them in the bottom socket.

The cords arrived well packaged, timely, and work exactly as described. I like that the plug is three-prong as are the three outlets on the end - supports electronic devices that either require 3-prong or just have a heavier draw on the electricity.Only downside for me - and this is totally my fault for not looking closer at the product image - the plug lies flat against the wall when plugged in (cord trails down rather than sticking out). This means you cannot use two of these on the same outlet - once you plug one into the top outlet, the cord will prevent you from plugging anything underneath. However, this is excellent behind furniture, so I just ended up using these elsewhere in the house where a flat profile was desired.

I like that the plug fits "flat" behind furniture and that the cables come in multiple lengths. Flat plug extensions help prevent plug prongs from being damaged by shoving a piece of furniture against a plug.I'm not sure if the three-foot length is still available. Seems to be well made. I like that two plugs are on one side and a third on the opposite for larger charger-type plugs. Would consider next time purchasing the flat plug with the rotating outlet.
