I tried several other kinds of knife holders before landing on this one. I actually bought more expensive options first because I had invested in a nice set of German knives and wanted to store them properly. After all of that, this is the one that won the battle.1. It is straightforward. There's no gimmick to it, but there's also no weird quirk that makes it difficult to use. It just does exactly what it's supposed to do.2. Compared to magnetic knife holders, this is a lot more stable. If you have cheap or very light knives, the magnet issue might not concern you, but if your knives are on the heavier, weighted side, a magnetic strip often isn't strong enough to hold them securely. It also got really annoying because the magnetic holder actually activated the magnets in my knives, and now all of them kind of gravitate toward each other.3. Compared to plastic bristle block holders, this is definitely the better option. Those plastic bristles just aren't strong enough to support the weight of good knives, so the blade sinks down through them and there's real potential to damage the tip. Also even though some of those holders are slanted, every time I tried to pull out my large knife it would hit against the bottom of the cabinet above. That would mean pulling the whole holder out to the middle or edge of the counter just to use it, and who is actually going to do that for aesthetic purposes. This drawer version solves that completely since it lives in the drawer.4. There's a rubber pad that keeps all the knife handles set in one place so nothing shifts around, and there's a divider between every blade space so each knife actually stays in its own area without swinging left and right. I can also store my smaller knives on the top rack.5. It's safe for me and it's safe for the knives. It's also compact but still stores so many. If you care about your knives, the aesthetics, and safety, then this is for you.All in all, this is the most compact, straightforward, and economical option that also looks neat and professional. Joseph Joseph is so reliable, and this feels like a much simpler version of OXO. Highly recommend.

Its a good knife holder for a drawer, especially considering there aren’t many drawer knife holders. It does hold a lot of knives and is helpful for organizing, however the knives on top tend to slip down with the opening and shutting of the drawer. Big knives can fit on bottom which I like and overall I’m happy with it!

Love the size and how much space I save using this instead of the bulky knife block on the counter top. This has been a major upgrade for our knife storage, I would 1000% recommend this to anyone trying to declutter kitchen counters. Great quality, sleek appearance, a solid buy.

GREAT space saver! Love this more than the regular organizers! This is so much better because it saves so much space. Loved so much I got one for knives as well and I won’t go back to a knife block or regular silverware tray ever again!

People! This is great!So, I live in an old house with a very small kitchen. There's also not a lot of counter space. So for a long time my random assortment of knives was in the silverware drawer, stuck between the rubbermaid flatware thingy and the edge of the drawer. It felt unsafe (and it actually was unsafe) but I didn't have any place on the counter for a knife block and there didn't seem to be other options.So this week I figured it was worth a try. I pulled all my spices out of a drawer and put them on those magnetic refrigerator-side shelves (also on amazon). Put this item in the drawer and started moving my knives over. ALL of them fit! Safely! In less than half a drawer! Even the really long bread knife!I thought I would need two knife organizers, but one was plenty. And the other half of that drawer now can be spatulas, ladles, lemon squeezers, and all that other assorted stuff you kinda need a drawer for.I am thrilled. Hooray! Buy this, it's worth a try. Really glad I spent the ten bucks.

I bought this so I could get my knife drawer organized. The knives fit in the slots OK but the handles are different sizes. Therefore, I’m not able to use all the slots. Something they don’t mention when you order it. However, it has helped to get my knife organized, and the knives are not banging against each other.

I'm very pair of the Joseph Joseph DrawerStore Knife Organizer I bought to organize all my sharp knives, including a set that had a "butcher block" for storage about ago. So far these have done a good job. They're easy to install, easy to use, and easy to clean. The ease of use really encourages me, a bachelor slob, to use them rather just tossing the knives in a drawer.Also, this model's bargain right now. I paid $12.75 for them, on sale, and as I write this the price is even lower, $11.98. No doubt part of the low price is because they're discontinued, but the new ones don't seem There are probably better ones, but I doubt there are better ones at a significantly lower price or even at the same price.My only concern is whether they'll last. Their construction doesn't appear to be the most durable, but it seems adequate to last for 5 or more years at a minimum.

I love these Joseph Joseph Drawer Cutlery, Utensil & Gadgets Organisers. They store so much and save so much space. I have the small single cutler organiser, the 4 compartment cutlery organiser and now Joseph Joseph DrawerStore Expanding Cutlery, Utensil & Gadgets Organiser, they all have their uses for different drawers and I am not disappointed. they might seem expensive, but when you look at the cost of cutlery holders that are just flat or individual baskets, they are not at all expensive.

I ended up buying a second one to add all my small little knives too. It’s so tidy now! Lovely for people like me who have a collection of knives that take up so much drawer space and make everything cluttered. It’s a great idea
