Can I buy more of these to further extend the one set or would I just have to buy a whole new set + solar panel?

Hello, thank you for your question. If you want to extend it, you need to buy a complete one, because string lights and solar panels are sold together. We have a product that can be extended, but it is powered by electricity, not solar. You can check the video. If you are interested, you can look up B08TGZHYTD. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Hope that helps. Best regards.

just bought. These don't seem to be working? full day in the sun last yesterday and they only came on 30 minutes, tonight they came on for 4 seconds?!

Hello, thank you for your question. If you have any questions or problems about the product, please go to your Amazon order detail page ‘order’- ‘sold by’- ‘contact seller’ to contact us.We will solve the problem for you. Best regards.

How many hours will the lights last once the solar panel is charged?

Hello there, Thank you very much for your question. It can last 8-10 hours if fully charged. This depends on the charging time and whether there is enough sunlight on the day. You need to charge it for 8-10 hours. You need to turn on the switch when charging, the charging effect will be better. If you still have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Best regards.

It doesn't say what is waterproof certificate for bulbs and solar unit. What's the IP rating?

These lights are low voltage as they work off the solar charger. Mine have been out all winter on my caravan in Devon i all sorts of weather and they are still working fine!
