Great product. You could say it was a life saver for our older dog. Easy to apply. Looks good. Glad I bought them.

Works as advertised...the carpet tape works to hold them in place. They help to prevent our dog (12 y/o, 85# Golden Retriever) go up and down the stairs without slipping and causing further aggravation to his arthritic joints. I would recommend them as an effective solution for an older dog with joint problems. I would give them a five star except I don’t think they are all that attractive (at least in our home decor) and have seen some fibers “shed” (so I don’t know how they will stand up to continuous wear). Good news is that the color/pattern will be pretty resistant to showing dirt and stains dragged in by messy Golden.

We just got a puppy and he was so afraid to go up the steps because he would slip and slide on the hard wood. . Our steps of course are hard wood that is why we considered getting carpets to put on them. We searched around for so many different kinds of carpet panels and came across these. The reason I chose this color/carpet pile is that the colors are neutral and go with any color decor in my house. THe pile on the carpet is about 1/4 inch high and slightly shaggy. The picture shown here is exactly like the stairs I have in my home. The carpet came with very strong industrial double sided tape that we used to attach them to our step. They give you a ton of tape. We had a lot of the tape left over. When we applied the carpets to the steps we thought FOR SURE that they would slide, they DIDN'T!!! My now large Golden Retriever goes up our steps with ease and not once have the carpets lifted or shifted. I can truly say I wish that we would have put these in sooner. They bring such a warmth to the our home and a peace of mind that no one will slip and fall down the steps. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone! THe quality of the carpet is superb and has not come apart or pulled. With a large dog these carpets are GREAT and definitely worth the money. It has saved our wood from getting scratched!

These stair treads solved the problems our older dog had with the stairs. She was slipping on the wood steps and had trouble seeing the steps with her worsening eyesight. Now she goes up and down with confidence. The carpet treads are well made and easy to install with the included double sided tape and I added some carpet tacks just to be sure.

Don't let the description deter you. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these treads. Nice and thick. Will definitely buy them again when needed.

These are wonderful! Great price, high quality. We use them on the basement stairs and they made such an improvement on sound, look, and most importantly, slipping (I'm using them for regular foot traffic, not because of a dog). I used the double-sided carpet tape that came with them (also bought Scotch brand tape, not realizing that it came with a roll) and ran three strips on the bottom (one down the front stair edge and two smaller ones down each shorter side). We've had them down for about a month and they haven't budged! We're now considering them for our other staircase!

Works for our dog, but product is cheap quality for the cost. Basically seems like excess carpet made into rectangles. Carpet already leaving pieces from being worn only data after install. Three stars could gave been four if carpet was better quality..
