So easy to use, not too spicy
Super easy to use. Two internal sleeves inside each box - one white powder (coconut) and one curry paste. I had started boiling some water and boiled to cook some shrimp, fish balls, fish tofu cubes. Saving the water from this pot, i dumped in the contents of the laksa sauce kit, added mung bean sprouts, bring to boil. I dumped everything in with noodles I had also cooked (in a separate pot to avoid the starch). Yum. I used less water than recommended. The laksa overall is not spicy, enough coconut, my coworkers (asian and non asians) all loved it. I will buy more in the future. Best prices here, better than at the retail shops.

Delicious authentic flavor.
Such an amazing product, certainly my go to for an amazing laksa. I buy this all the time, I can never have enough.

Spot on flavor as always
Prima Taste makes the best instant Singapore laksa, in my opinion. I grew up in Singapore and laksa is one of my absolute favorite noodle dishes ever. Nothing else compares here in Honolulu, where most of them taste more like curry and they pile on so much irrelevant seafood that it's not even laksa anymore. Anyway. Earlier versions of Prima Taste used to include a sambal paste. It was so good and I'd ration it and savor it. Then I noticed the later versions no longer have the sambal. :(Depending on my mood, I've used spaghetti, shirataki (low-carb konjac noodles), to much success, for my family. I'd eat egg noodles but am not a fan of them. I'd add hard-boiled eggs, shrimp, aburage (puff tofu), bean sprouts (cleaned as much as I can coz the "tails" (roots) and the seed caps look kinda gross when they're still on), sliced fish cake, and sambal. YUM.

Misleading
This is not a noodle soup, as described on the package. You must provide your own noodles, shrimp, fish, etc. Once getting over my initial surprise at the misleading title on the box, it was very flavorful as a broth, without the addition of noodles or seafood. It was so good, in my opinion, that I think adding noodles would reduce the rich, delicious flavor of the broth. But it was nothing I could not have made at home, with a can of coconut milk and seasoning.

BEST Laksa mix
I am true blue Singapore who is very fussy with laksa, so I can honestly tell you this brand of laksa paste is as authentic as local food sellers in Singapore. Ignore that ignorant reviewer who claimed he/she can make this from scratch and the labeling is misleading, that person obviously do not know what Singaporean laksa is. This is a pre-mixed spice pack that requires you to add water, thick rice noodles (thin spaghetti is a good sub) and protein (meat, seafood etc). A pack can serve 2 to 3 pax with medium sized portions. I cannot imagine my kitchen not stocked up with a few packs of this!

Best comfort food
I grew up in Asia where Laksa was a thing we frequently ate out and at home! I used to purchase these in bulk when I was visiting home and have felt relieved to have found this on Amazon. I’ve tried multiple variations of laksa paste and nothing compares to this. I prefer my laksa on the creamier side so I add a can of coconut milk in addition to the coconut powder included. I often use this as a base for hotpot and it’s always a huge hit !
