I purchased after careful review and relying on listing product images. I am an experienced chain user after 15 years use in mountain communities with 4WD trucks and at times during snow plow operation.These are rated light truck and SUV traction. However, there was no mention of 4WD vehicles applicability.INITIAL FIT:Acquired for storm driving use with 4WD Vehicle. Experientially, I’d advise the physical layout features an automatic ratcheting system that eliminates the need to adjust or move the vehicle during installation. Once you try to install these in good weather, say 5 times, you’ll adapt and observe they’re not difficult to install. Installation word of caution for new users-the blue cable has two ends - a pin end and a pin-receiving end. Never feed the receiving end of the cable behind the tire, only send the pin end around to avoid snow packed into the receiver opening (one less challenge for installation).INITIAL FUNCTIONALITY: The manufacturer and/or seller primary performance use case is delivering quick, automatic centering during low-speed winter travel. I would add this depends on conditions. Chains can get some folks into trouble and others out of trouble. These could get you moving, and moving faster, stopping safely w/o incident is often the next real challenge. If you’ve ever used chain kits with an extended rubber lead and small hook at the end, my experience would inform those separate and rather quickly depending on conditions and use case.INITIAL PRICE: $39.99 per pair, used like new. The cost provides a highly reasonable entry point for chaining four tires during seasonal road emergencies.INITIAL QUALITY: The alloy steel links are noticeably far smaller than the size scale viewed in product listing images. Their size should be noted among sellers’ listing. This raises, for myself a seasoned/experienced chain user, structural concerns. IMHO matching consumer product reviews I read report early breakage (2-3 uses)(Likewise others rated them highly). Because of these thin components, against my backdrop of real life use case experiences, IMHO the overall build aligns closer to basic passenger car standards than it would ever applying them to 4WD 1/2 ton or > pickup trucks. I purchased the chain size relative to my tire size using the chart that was showing in the description/photos of the product. When i received the chains there was an accompanying tag that verifies the size of the chains and list of tire tire sizes it fits. To my surprise my tires were not included in that list. In fact all the tires sizes shown that it did fit had a rim diameter 2" less than mine. I thought for certain they would not fit. But sizing is based on three variables, rim size, tire width and aspect ratio so I thought I best try them on my truck to verify. Well wouldn't you know...they fit perfectly. I have a low aspect tire and they didn't even touch my rims.if your rire size is not the other package you ordered I'd recommend trying them on your vehicle to verifyI have not used in snow however they are similar to my Konig XG12 for my other vehicle in pattern and somewhat similar to how they synch up (I love the Konigs). Putting these new chains on my truck ..it was similar in ease to the Konigs in terms of affixing them. I honestly can't think of how one could make an easier chain to affix.I know a few reviewers were concerned about the plastic tensioners. All i can say is that my XG12's have somewhat similar plastic tensioner and I've used them often with no issue but that may not be a fair comparison. Time will tell but I'm happy with the fit, ease of install and the tread pattern
